"You see..The Wangs aren't as pure as they painted themselves to be.."
Jia Xue looked at the beautiful woman sitting in front of him, whose smiling from ear to ear but without any feelings at all.
Despite appearing like a princess from head to toe, and smiling and talking like she's the happiest person in the world; Jia Xue knew, a little of what the woman in front of him was feeling inside.
She's feeling so alone. She's feeling empty. She's doing things because she thought that they're what she's supposed to do. It's not that these things made her happy. It's because she had plans. These are all included in her plans. And she's not going to let her plans go to waste.
Looking at her, Jia Xue was reminded of himself a year ago, before he met Caleb. And before he had this relationship with Caleb to fall back to.
This woman used to have her own Caleb, in the form of her long time lover, Guan ChenJi, but now, it seemed that Guan ChenJi might not be with her for long. And thus, she's desperate to make new plans.
This woman is hollow. So hollow right now, because she fear losing the one thing she had ever wanted.
After looking at the woman who now introduced herself as Guan Fen, Jia Xue looked down on the pictures in front of him again.
"The Wang pharmaceutical, where you are working right now, was where they put your mother in captivity." She said, smiling as she continued, "she was tested upon..and banned from going out. They were planning on keeping her there as a lab rat for the rest of her life..." her smile disappeared almost as instantly as it first broke on her face.
"Do you know, who helped her got out...?" Her eyes mocked Jia Xue, "me...I was the one who helped your mother escaped...So in a way.. I am her saviour.."
Jia Xue faced the mocking eyes of the woman in front of him, "Yes..Thank you..." if she hadn't helped his mother escaped here, his mother might never have met his father. And he, Jia Xue, might never have been born at all.
"So, don't blame me for anything. " The woman smirked, "I consider what you're doing now, as your way to pay your debt. Your mother's debt to me."

Earlier today, before lunch time, Jia Xue received a call, from Caleb's number. But when Jia Xue answered, a different voice began talking.
And ten minutes later, Jia Xue, with face as calm as he can be, told his team that he'd be out for lunch and he might be taking the rest of the days off; citing family matters as his reason.
Before he went out however, he went to the medicine refrigerator and took one small medicine bottle with him, quietly not wanting the the they guys to realised it.
Then Jia Xue walked out of the building towards the security office in front of the front gate.
The security personnel there let Jia Xue out, and no sooner that Jia Xue walked out of the front gate, a car came and opened the door to him.
