"You have never been to a club before right?"
Jia Xue shook his head. As if Caleb need to ask. Before Caleb came into Jia Xue's life; there's no other place than the lab and his home, for him to go.
"I'm not really sure if I'd fit in though.." Jia Xue said in a little voice, looking outside the window.
"You'll do just fine.." Caleb assured his lover, who's not looking confident at all.
This is the same man who had charmed his family effortlessly with his looks, and his personality; without even knowing he has both.
Caleb knew, he could spend all day and the next trying to make him see it; but in the end Jia Xue wouldn't even understand. His lover is made that way. Unique. Blind to his own qualities.
Caleb smiled as they finally reached the Fire and Ice Club, the usual clubs he and his friends would often met. It's one of the high-end and expensive Clubs in town.
He'd meet the guys here a few nights ago, when he came to set a meeting between them and Jia Xue.
Guo Li and Da Shin; almost had their jaw dropped to the floor when he told them that he'd bring his partner to meet them.
Only Li Ming was calm; of course, he'd known about Caleb finding someone special since six months ago. He was the one who helped Caleb set up a home for that person.
And today; finally, he'd be able to introduce Jia Xue to his friends.
Caleb's hands went around Jia Xue's shoulders as they walked side by side into the Club.
Jia Xue brace himself for the situation, when they walked in, but to his surprise; it's not even remotely like what he'd imagined.
He glanced up at Caleb. He's confused.
Caleb smiled down at his lover confused expression, "Club Fire and Ice is a respectable Club. We aren't even allowed to smoke in here."
"Why didn't you tell me before?" Jia Xue had been picturing the club to be dark and filled with cigarette smoke.
