Professor Guo was looking at Caleb and then at Jia Xue, as if trying to assess whether what they're telling him is the truth.
Caleb Wang, The president of the Wang Pharmaceutical, heir to the Wang empire, is telling him, that he and his former students turned assistant researcher, whom he has always looked after like a son, Jia Xue; are together?

"Yes. Gran adored him. I think probably more than she adored me, professor.."
Now, he believed it. Now he get it why lately,his former university lecturer, Caleb's grandmother, had been calling him often. She sounded really happy and she'd go on talking mostly about Jia Xue.
It's not often that Madam Wang became very interested in a person. But she really is into Jia Xue.
She couldn't stop appreciating and complimenting Jia Xue's mind and his demeanor. How it would have been great is she'd know Jia Xue sooner.

"You're both serious..?" Although, judging from the look of things, there is no question about it at all, because both of them are looking at each other with open admiration and love.
It was amazing, to see the usually poker faced Jia Xue, to be this expressive. The boy is finally learning to use his heart, instead of only his brain.
"We are.." Caleb confirmed, "I'm sorry, professor for taking this long to meet you." and he bowed down a little to emphasize his words.
"Oh..Really..There's no need to apologize, President Wang.."Professor Guo, shook his head, "I'm grateful that you both came and told me in person today.."
So, the rumour about the president being in a club with a man, a very gorgeous man, and even kissed with that man, was true then? The professor had been hearing about the rumour but, he thought it was just a gossip, a malice intent on tainting the president's image.
The rumour was probably true and that the gorgeous man he had kissed was most probably Jia Xue.
Amazingly, them being both men, was accepted by Caleb's family, then? Madam Wang is the head of the family, so if they have her by their side, that would mean that the rest of the family would have to accept them as well.
"Jia Xue.." Professor Guo called Jia Xue who had been pretty quiet since they sat down together for lunch.
