Jia Xue checked how he looked in the mirror.
He never checked how he looked before he became Caleb's lover. He never felt the need or the drive to look good.
So, this is how a man in love behaves? Jia Xue thought. Getting nervous over ones look. Not because he wanted to be praised but because he feared that if he looked bad, it will reflect on his lover.
Caleb Wang is no ordinary man. He's the president of a multi million company. He's also the heir to one of the richest and oldest family in China.
Jia Xue learned as much, since Caleb had brought him to meet his family, a week ago.
And after that dinner, Jia Xue had been having lunches with different Wang family members than Caleb twice this week. And during those lunches, he learned more about Caleb and his family.
First, Jia Xue was fetched by first Madam Wang, whom Jia Xue considered a friend, who happens to be Caleb's grandmother. They went to have lunch together and then she brought Jia Xue back.
Thankfully, Madam Wang didn't treat Jia Xue any differently than before thus Jia Xue was able to relax.
They exchange opinions about the research Jia Xue and his team were doing, the progress and setbacks.
Their lunch was filled with academic discussion which the both of them were both very keen about.
Although, Madam Wang, did insist that Jia Xue should call her Gran, and once in a while she'd talk about their family, without making it awkward for Jia Xue.
The second time was; to Jia Xue's surprise, he was fetched by Caryn, Caleb's sister.
Caryn is a jewellery designer, who has her own line of jewellery; The Caryn Wang Collection. And she'd been having difficulties designing new jeweleries.
"You gave me inspiration, Jia Xue.." She had told Jia Xue who looked quiet confused when she came to the facility and invited Jia Xue for lunch.
Jia Xue immediately thought about Caleb; yesterday when Caleb's grandmother came to take Jia Xue for lunch, as it turned out, she didn't inform Caleb and Caleb was left to have lunch by himself at their home.
