Caleb looked at the Chief of the Sanlitun/Chaoyang Beijing Precint Police Department, in a look mixed of disbelief and exasperation.
"With all do respect, sir.." Caleb began, "A talk and demonstration on Counterattack strategy? And they profiling method? With my fiance?"
The Precinct Chief nodded, "we have reviewed everything on tape, all the interviews with Mr Yin Jia Xue, and also the recording of the recent reenactment of his abduction..." the Precint Chief continued, "we would really love to have him give the talk and demonstration.."
Jia Xue called Caleb earlier about the Precint Chief's intention which he conveyed via a telephone call to Jia Xue, about wanting to invite Jia Xue for a talk on counterattack strategy and criminal profiling to the officers at the precint police department.
The phone call surprised Jia Xue to which he had tried to decline saying that it's not his area of specialty but the chief seemed to have made up his mind on it thus, Jia Xue told him to meet Caleb, because he is Jia Xue's employer and Jia Xue is working for him professionally. The Chief did say that it's a sharing session and not an academic class. In short they wanted his opinion and first hand experience.
When the Precint Department Chief really came to his office; Caleb was actually a little surprised. He didn't expect that the chief would actually come; which meant that the were serious about asking Jia Xue for the talk.
