Chapter 12 : Confession 2

"I was surprised actually.." After their breathing subsided and their passion lessened Jia Xue finally could speak.

"About what..?" Caleb asked. He had Jia Xue resting on his chest, as he wrapped his arms around Jia Xue.

"You were willing to take the train with me..Didn't you say you hated travelling long? The plane would have been better suited to you, don't you think?"

"Well.." Caleb smiled, he did tell Jia Xue that. "But that was before I knew you..I think perhaps travelling with you, I prefer it to be long.."

Jia Xue frowned, not quiet catching what Caleb was saying.

Sensing Jia Xue's confusion, Caleb laughed a little, his lover's innocence will never bore him, really.

"I love you..So I want to be with you..The longer I spent with you, the more I like it..So travelling together from now on..I will look forward to it.." Caleb said, kissing Jia Xue's temple tenderly.

"I love being with you too.." Jia Xue said, "before I knew that I love you; this feeling of having my chest tighten painfully, really made me uncomfortable...Now that I knew..I think I never wanted to be with anybody else but you..I'd never felt this feeling of wanting to be with someone, other that my Gran, before..I thought, it would just be me and my Gran..for the rest of my life.."

Caleb's heart made a 360 degrees somersault as Jia Xue's words knocked him off his feet; and he fell in love all over again for the man. Really, Jia Xue's innocence will never ever bore him. Never ever.

Jia Xue didn't even know how much his words affected Caleb.

"I want to meet your Gran.." Caleb finally spoke after he had gotten his voice under control.

"Well..I'll be going home next week.." It had been two months since they became lovers. Initially Caleb thought that he would give Jia Xue time, and wait for Jia Xue to ask him to meet his Gran..But now, with the development of their relationship, he didn't think he would wait any longer.

The sooner they make everything official the better it will be.

"But I'm not sure.." Jia Xue looked up at Caleb, "you have been rescheduling your work too much, recently..Because of me. I don't think you should do that too much. I would hate it if I became a nuisance and affect your work.." he said worriedly.

Caleb sighed, looking at Jia Xue, "who do you think I am..?" He asked teasingly.

Jia Xue frowned, "the president...?"

"Exactly. I am the president...I am not hired. I own the company.." Caleb smiled cheekily.

Then as Jia Xue was about to protest, no doubt he would be talking about working ethics, professionalism, and all; Caleb put his hand over Jia Xue's mouth.

"Seriously..I wouldn't want my company to suffer right? Rescheduling doesn't mean that I am not doing my work. It's only that, I do my work in advance so that I can spare my time to be with someone more precious than any gems in the world." Caleb explained, "I don't skip on my work.."

Well, only once though, when he asked his vice president to continue with the meeting that time, when Jia Xue didn't pick up his calls. That time, when they finally became lovers. But it was an entirely different now that they're together. He did his works diligently enough.

"Still..don't you think it's hard for you?" Having to do everything in advance, it must be tiring.

"It's hard. But it's harder if I'm not with you." Caleb said.

"So, it's okay for you to come with me next week?"

"It would be more than okay. It would be an honour.." Caleb whispered lovingly.
