"Jia Xue! We'd just been informed. Four people in the test group 310, had been admitted to Beijing United Family Hospital.!"
That's probably the worst thing any researcher could hear.
"Make that 6, another two had been hospitalized in Peking Union Medical Hospital."
That means half of the test group 310, had been hospitalized. Something is clearly wrong.
"I'm going to the Beijing United Family hospital.. Jin and Andy all of you two will come with me..Mr Hwang, Liang Er, Eron and Kim, will go to Peking Union Medical Hospital..keep our communication open.."
In all the years Jia Xue was involved in medical research, and testing the new medicines on test subjects; he'd never encountered any problem at all.
And this is supposed to be the group that had shown so much progress since getting involved in the experiments. As they were in the elevator, Jia Xue called Caleb.
"Hello," Caleb answered hurriedly, his voice was rushed, "I was about call you..there had been..-?"
"I know. We're on the way to Beijing Union and Peking United Hospital right now.." Jia Xue knew Caleb had known about the incident.
"I'm already heading to the Beijing Union Family Hospital right now..." Caleb said.
"Caleb, please secure all the information for us, if you get there first. I don't want any data to be lost.."
"Sure, consider it done..What do you think happened..?"
Jia Xue blinked, he couldn't really say anything not until he looked at the result.
But the fact that the test subjects had been hospitalized because of severe stomach pain and vomiting, meaning it's some kind of overdose related effects. And their medicines had been administered in the right dosage. And overdose does not happen especially not this after long into the experiments. Symptoms of overdose could be seen the first time people consume the test medicine.
"I can't say right now , Caleb. I need to look at all data's possible first..."
"Right. I've arrived, I had requested for all of them to be put into the VIP ward."
Jia Xue nodded, as be went into Andy's car, "we will be there in ten minutes.."
"Right.." Caleb said, "I'm hanging up now, love...see you soon..."
"Alright. See you there, in ten.."
"The president is already there?" Jin asked when Jia Xue finished talking on the phone.
"Yes.." Jia Xue nodded. Compared to everybody who were looking worried out of their minds, Jia Xue was calm, and intensely focused, a little more so than usual.
"Stomach pain and vomiting. It sounded like an overdose..." Andy said, exactly what Jia Xue had been thinking.
"Yes..and our medicine shouldn't have caused it." Jin nodded.
