Caleb propped himself with his left elbow, watching Jia Xue slept, with the light from the window reflected on his skin illuminating and making him glow more and more.
They'd been married for two weeks. And, though they'd been living together for a year, it was different since they got hitched officially.
Caleb felt more complete, more fulfilled ever since Jia Xue finally wore his ring. Yin Jia Xue is his, in all the ways possible now. Yet, because everything seemed perfect now and because it seemed that he had finally get what he really wanted in life; he also became more afraid and more terrified. Everything seemed too good to be true, thus every night he'd wait for Jia Xue go to sleep first before he could close his eyes. And he would wake up first, waiting for Jia Xue to open his hazel eyes.
Caleb ran his fingers, on Jia Xue's soft hair, falling over his forehead and brushed the hair back exposing Jia Xue's smooth forehead. Then, Caleb planted a fleeting kiss on the sleeping beauty's eye lid, his cheek and the tip of his nose.
"Caleb..?" Jia Xue finally opened his eyes, woken up by Caleb's kisses. And Caleb drowned immediately in Jia Xue's pair of beautiful hazel eyes.
"Good morning, love.." Caleb muttered as he planted a kiss on Jia Xue's lips, "did I wake you up?" Of course he did. Today's the last day of their honeymoon.
