Jia Xue took on small sip, and it tastes...clean and very dry. Not sugary but not exactly bitter too.
As Jia Xue never had a liquor before, he didn't have any experience to compare to. This is his first ever 'adult' drink.
But the faint smell and taste of the lemon gets to him. Jia Xue wanted to taste more. Blinking, he took one more sip and then another one and another one.
Caleb watched as Jia Xue experimented with the taste. But when it became obvious that Jia Xue, is drinking way too quick for a first timer; he immediately stopped him.
"Whoa..Slow down, love.." he smiled, and then Jia Xue looked up at him.
To Caleb's surprise, Jia Xue's cheeks were flushing. And his big beautiful eyes were smouldering.
Good God. Is Jia Xue drunk? He haven't even finished his glass of martini yet.
"I'm okay.." Jia Xue smiled, a little too sweetly. Caleb frowned; still wondering whether Jia Xue's really drink or it's just his body, adapting to having a liquor for the first time.
"How cute.." Guo Li commented seeing Jia Xue's flushed cheeks.
Jia Xue looked at Guo Li and threw him a smile so pretty, he coughed as he choked on his drink.
Caleb saw the smile, looking at Jia Xue, wonderingly and jealously; there's something about that smile that isn't quiet right.
"Don't get any ideas..okay..?" Caleb warned, "he's my partner.."
Guo Li blushed, he had actually been thinking, if Jia Xue was a girl; he'd have come straight at him with full force, or that if Jia Xue wasn't Caleb's partner, even if he's man..maybe...?
What? What's he been thinking just now? Guo Li glanced at Caleb guiltily. He'd never shown tendency towards another man before. But meeting Jia Xue challenged that. He'd be dead if Caleb knew of his thought just now.
Caleb knew actually. His friends are no mystery to him. He could read them all like a book.
Yes, he hated it when people looked at Jia Xue with desire on their eyes; he would want to kill those people.
