It took approximately two hours before the vehicle finally stopped. But Jia Xue knew, that they had taken the same road twice.
He heard the same sounds. He felt the same slight turn and bump in exactly the same place; twice.
They might thought that by doing this, they had tricked him into believing that they too two hours on the road. They didn't know that not only did he knew that wasn't true, they also inadvertently had given Jia Xue more time to analyze the sounds and the place they'd drove by.
Jia Xue mentally made a map of where he was taken. Then, suddenly he was being dragged out, and taken into a closed space.

"Jason Guan was last seen walking into his car, two hours ago. He was supposed to arrive at his family gathering an hour ago. He hadn't arrived yet."
Caleb's heart sank, when he heard the news from his PI, whom he had dispersed to check on the whereabouts of Jason Guan.
Instinctively, he knew that somehow, Jia Xue's abduction had something to do with Jason Guan.
"What's the family gathering for exactly?" Caleb asked, though he could guess.
"They're determining the successor to the Guan empire...Apparently, Guan ChenJi had made another separate will, stating that, half of his estate and business abroad would be given to his only son, if he is deemed incapable of working anymore."
