"You're here!" Jia Xue's grandmother opened the door, and welcomed both Jia Xue and Caleb into her arms, "welcome home.."
Then she ushered them both in.
"I thought you two were busy..." Jia Xue's grandmother, looked at Caleb as she walked them to their room.
Caleb glanced at Jia Xue, "Jia Xue took his work here..And I had rearranged my schedule..usually Jia Xue wouldn't want to skip work..." and the research was now getting back on track after being sabotaged not long ago, so Caleb thought Jia Xue would concentrate on his research, "but he said he'd take the holiday and come home for fruit picking...I think he just missed this season of sweetness.."
Jia Xue's grandmother smiled, nodding, brushing her hand on Jia Xue's cheek then turned to pat Caleb on his arm.
"Get some rest first.." Gran gave Jia Xue a peck on his cheek before leaving them in front of their room, "Gran will be at the orchard okay..Thank you, Caleb ah..The men you sent were very efficient..."
Caleb smiled, "don't mention it Gran. It's what they're supposed to do.." the team of security personnels sent here had been briefed about what they're required to do. And one of the tasks was, to help with the fruit picking because they came here posing as fruit pickers as the one they're supposed to protect wasn't aware of the situation at hand.
