You're so innocent and pure, and I everything but. Yet, despite knowing that, I am not going to give you up. Now now. Not ever. You would have to bear with me. Forever.
Caleb recited his vow, gripping Jia Xue's hands tightly in his own, looking into Jia Xue's teary hazel eyes with his own teary aquamarine ones.
Caleb Wang, I love you. Before I met you, I thought I was one of those people who wouldn't be able to feel things normal people would feel. I never knew that I was so lonely until I met you. And then I met your family, and suddenly I began to feel things. You are my life. I know that I never wanted to go back to how I was before I met you. So I'm going to hold on to you. Forever.
Jia Xue told Caleb the feelings his heart was telling him without a hint of hesitation.
The crowd swooned because they'd never heard such solemn exchange of vows before. Both Caleb and Jia Xue did not practise the vow beforehand and they memorize nothing. The vows they gave to each other, was what they're feeling in their heart, now. And it was what they had always felt for each other.
"You may now exchange the rings," the minister then said.
Both Jia Xue and Caleb, were trembling as they took the rings from the ring basket. It was Caryn's star creation. The only two rings with the exact design from her Jia Collection. The rings were made especially for her brother and Jia Xue.
Caleb and Jia Xue looked at Caryn giving her their thankful smile before they faced each other again. Caleb put his own ring on Jia Xue's ring finger and the Jia Xue put his ring on Caleb's ring finger.
Caleb was so thankful, he didn't screw up this time. The last time he tried putting a ring on Jia Xue's finger, he had been in such a mess, it was pretty embarrassing to think about after his brain started functioning.
Then they interlaced their fingers not willing to let go of each other.
"I now pronounce you, husband and husband." The minister was quiet cheeky, as he tried to fight his own tears by teasing the pair a little bit, now, just kiss..you've been waiting to do so, right?"
Jia Xue blushed shyly and Caleb smiled, as he melted seeing t Jia Xue's blush. Then Caleb took Jia Xue's face in between his palms and bent to kiss his bride, deeply.
Jia Xue clung to Caleb's waist as he kissed Caleb back with all the love that he had for the man.
Caleb and Jia Xue faintly heard that cheers and hand claps erupting in the hall, around them, and they drew away smiling at each other before they continued kissing.
