Jia Xue blinked at Caleb. Not following Caleb's line of thought.
He'd been giving Caleb the detail of his meeting with the man named, Jason Guan. The man, who fell overboard the ship, where Caleb met Jia Xue for the first time.
As it turned out it was the estranged son of Caleb's aunt's husband. It's a complicated web of messy relationship.
And it wasn't as if his aunt had a good relationship with her own family; because when she started her affair with Guan Chen Ji, it broke her parents hearts and disregarded all of her family members advices.
And then after years of the affair, just as Guan Chen Ji's wife and children became more and more estranged from him, Wang Fen too, had become estranged from her own family.
"You're moving in with me.."
Jia Xue's eyes widened.
"I don't think, that's necessary," Jia Xue said quietly, and Caleb's eyes shot him down immediately.
"Caleb, please." Jia Xue tried to reason with him, "he wouldn't be able to go pass the security. "

It still reeled Caleb, Jia Xue meeting with that man, without him knowing about it.
If it wasn't for the security personnel, maybe he wouldn't know about it at all.
"I came to see him, to assess the situation..I didn't know his intention initially." Jia Xue explained, "now that I know; I'll never meet with him again..I promise.."
Too late. The seed of doubt had already been planted in Caleb's mind.
Jason Guan had also made it very clear that he meant every word he said when he told Caleb and Jia Xue his intention.
And the knowledge that Jia Xue is Caleb Wang's Love interest made him all the more pumped up.
So, that man will definitely try anything. Just to get Jia Xue to look at him.
Caleb can't take that risk. He just can't. So, instead of having to constantly think of Jia Xue being pursued by another man!
"I'll send you everyday to work." Caleb said.
Jia Xue sighed as he knew, that Caleb had made up his mind.

"Do really you have to do it like that?" Jia Xue asked.
"I can. I am the president." Caleb said, in a final voice, "I can even work from bed if I want to."
