Special Plans (Pt. 2)

Two things real quick- A) You should follow my collab account with dreamfragment which is -Aphilyn  and 2) What is another X reader idea? I think I'm gunna do Travis but I want you guys' opinion!

We run into the house.

"Aphmau whats- MELODY?!" I yell.

Gene gasps and shouts, "APHMAU WHAT DID YOU DO??"

"I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!" She cries.

"Daddy!" A seven-year-old Melody smiles and runs to Gene.

He blinks and fake smiles, "Hi sweetheart."

She smiles and hugs him. I blink and grasp the back of the chair. "Melody, why won't you go play in your room?"

She laughs, "Okay mommy!"

She runs off into her room. I let out a breath that I hadn't realized that I was holding in.

"WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED APHMAU?!" Gene yells once he's sure that Melody is out of sight.

"I dunno!" She panics. "She was playing to the floor one minute, the next minute she was 7!"

I shut my eyes tightly. "This can't be happening..."

"HOW DID IT- Wait.. Y/N? Can I-" He takes a breath, "-talk to you?"

I nod silently as we walk into the kitchen.

"How did this happen?!" He whisper shouts.

I shake my head, "I-I dunno!"

"Could it have been Garte...?" He suggests.

I shake my head again, "He doesn't have magiks..."

"Maybe he got someone else to do it?" Gene corrects.

I sigh. "I don't really know.."

"Yeah... there's nothing we can do for now.."

I frown. I really wish we could've finished our outing together... We've been so preoccupied an such, now we have even more on our hands..

Apparently, Gene was thinking the same thing because he speaks.

"Hey. It's okay." He says. "We'll figure it out. We'll go back out again and such. I'm so sorry things had to turn out this way.."

I shake my head. "It's fine Gene."

He sighs as we walk back into the living room.
