It Doesn't Matter

Fake smiles and words of encouragement,
Hiding what you really want to say,
You never tell anyone whats going on;
It won't matter anyway.

All of classmates love you,
"So funny and peppy!"
They don't know all you've been through..
It doesn't matter anyway.

When you lack the words to say;
Consumed with the memories of the past;
They laugh with you anyway..
As if the problems don't matter anyway.

They don't know that you cry,
At night in bed and alone.
Maybe if they did they'd try-
...It wouldn't matter anyway.

I don't matter anyway...

Oh! Misses President!
You've been elected to lead!
The confusion is evident;
Help supply our needs!

Oh! Misses President!
Popularity and publicity!
Throw away all the evidence!
No one cares about your darkest deeds.

Oblivious

When you smile and laugh,
My whole world lights up.

We talk to each other frequently,
But I can't get enough.

Of course, you don't know I like you.
But if you observed, you would.

We joke around and such,
I feel like its so blunt.

When will you realize
We're made for each other?

You probably won't,
And thats a bummer.
