Chapter 22 - Explain

Kit POV

"It was Lots fault!" Ming shouts from behind Yo. "He was an old woman, gave me a poison apple to cursed me! P'Kit was upset and then Yo had to go find the witch to make an antidote. But Lot escaped and he had a witch, and she said she would kill me and she cackles mother..."

Good thing Yo stopped him aunty looked ready to strangle my idiot. Yo started from the beginning and explained the situation, they both looked furious by the time he finished. Mother had P'Lee send a message to father, she wanted him home.

Aunty hugged Ming a few times, she was being calm and understanding but I saw her hand shake when she touched his cheek. I understood. The look of fury was still in her eyes, I wouldn't blame her and uncle for whatever they decided to do to Lot.

"And these two are?" Mother asked looking at Pha and Forth.

Yo had explained the dwarves, but it wouldn't be easy to explain this. I wish you well little brother.

"Yo's boyfriend." P'Ahn replies calmly from behind them.

The fearful inhales and whispered cursing was understandable. Yo quickly explained the situation, mother listened calmly, watching Pha. Yo was starting to panic, I understood, mother being quiet was never a good sign.

"He stole Yo's first kiss, Poppy." P'Bee managed to say before squeaking and falling.

Did she know my mother? How? I know my parents had a life but seriously, all the surprises were giving me a headache. That, or it was because I hadn't slept.

"And you let him?" Mother asks fiercely.

"I turned him into a beast!" She defends but finishes near tears. "But Yo broke my spell."

"Lee, my gun." She asks.

P'Lee had it ready and in her hand in under 20 seconds, he really was excellent at his job, but I wished he wasn't this efficient sometimes. The forest was staying in the background for this it seemed, best to be safe, messing with our mother was never a good plan.

"Mother, please." Yo said in a shaky voice moving in front of Pha.

"Step aside dear."

"But mother... I love him."

Not the best thing to say kido, but let's see where this goes. I take Ming's hand and pull him back when he looks ready to go to Yo. He just survived, I don't want him dead as a bystander. Wait for it Yo, wait for it.

"You don't know ..."

"I do, I asked father." He's eyes are watering. "He said the first time he danced with you he knew you were his."

"He said what?" P'Bee asks rubbing her head. "I need to have a word with your father."

"First-time P'Pha hugged me, I knew he was mine." Yo finishes in a trembling voice.

And then he cries. Hiccupping, with big fat tears rolling down his face, like the world will end. Beams about to go comfort him but I grab his arm, Forth takes the other one stopping him. Pha's hugging him, trying his best to calm Yo and make him stop, but Yo carries on. Spark is near them, the little guys crying his eyes out as well.

"We taught him too damn well." Beam seethes beside me.

"But...its love."

We turn to look at Forth, he's watching the two with watery eyes. The angels hug him, telling him it's Yo, and they will make it right. The avalanche of tears didn't stop until mother hugged him and promised she wouldn't do anything to ... his Pha. From mother's dangerous look, father would be sleeping in the guest room when he got back.
