CH 21 - Leave it to us

From her looks the woman is also a witch, but unlike our witch, I don't get a good feeling from her.

"Who's Bee?" Monty asks.

"Me." Our witch answers. "And its P'Bee to you lot."

"A dank little village suits you Bee." She smirks. "It's a dump."

"Oi!" We all say together.

How dare she say that? I love this place, and all the people living around here are great.

"You bastards better not have broken my barn door." P'In shouts.

That's where P'Sing had them tied up for the time being before he sent word to the authorities in the town nearby.

"It caught fire quickly." The woman cackles.

P'In is ready to go over and have a word when Ming and I stop him. It's hard to hold onto him, the troll picks him up and moves him away.

"Stay back boys." P'Bee says standing and calling her staff. "I need to settle a score with that harpy."

"How did you manage to get a staff?" She sneers. "You never had the magic level."

"I just never bothered competing with you." P'Bee replies. "I should have known a low-level potion like that was yours."

"Low level?" Min shouts. "It took three weeks to make, that boy will die."

"It took me 19 minutes to make an antidote". P'Bee smiles. "The boy is awake and alive."

The group finally take a look at who else is around.

"Why is he awake?" Lot shrieks. "He has to die so I can get Kit."

"Don't worry." Min laughs. "I'm not done."

"You are." P'Bee gets angry. "This time, you're going to pay."

Min casts a spell aimed at Ming, but before her staff even manages to finish glowing, P'Bee's stopped it.

"You're going to learn a lesson today Min." P'Bee says seriously. "You don't hurt people I like."

Min screeches and starts casting spells, but P'Bee is much faster, she has them neutralised before they can even finish forming. Min screams falling when a spell hits her, giving her warts and a crooked nose.

The fake guards rush forward when Lot starts ordering them, but P'Beam, P'Forth and P'Pha cut them off before they reach anyone. Ming wants to go help but P'Kit stops him.

"Mayor, shouldn't you do something?" P'Din asks.

"They seem to be handling this well." P'Sing replies watching with us.

"Enjoy the show." Elephant giggles, making bets with Monty.

"Is this normal?" P'Yut asks me.

"Things do happen." I tell him.

I watch P'Pha and the others fight, he's really good. I wonder if he is a hero like Ming? Or maybe the son of a Lord, that's how he moves and acts.

"Stop blushing Yo." Monty snickers. "We know he's yours."

"I didn't...do anything." I stammer.

"We can tell what you're thinking." Crow laughs.

Lot screams when he realises all of his hired people are not getting anywhere, he runs towards Ming. But P'Kit grabs him by the neck and punches him before he can do anything.
