CH 57 - Let's gather

Monty POV

"Monty...please talk to me."

I stop, he had been trying to talk to me since we left the village nearly an hour ago but I had kept on walking, trying my best to ignore him and get what needed to be done...done. This was Yo's fault!

"Monty..." Park sighed when I still said nothing.

"Were you only nice to me so you could find out things about Yo?" I ask quietly.

"At first, it's the reason I came..."

"Sorry to have been a bother." I say and start walking again.

I squeak when I'm turned around abruptly, Park is staring at me angrily. How dare he, I should be angry!

"You're hard to deal with Monty..."

Oh my god! He said the words no one wants to hear. I mean well my idiot cousins said them often enough and I know I can be a little dramatic but...

"You don't have to be mean." I cry.

It was real crying, not the fake one I used to look sweet and cuddly before I attacked.

"Monty..."

"I really liked you and you were a spy for a witch." I cry more.

"Listen..."

"I even brought you the secret recipe apple pie and custard I don't even share with Yo." I carry on.

"I..."

"You just had to say, Monty leave me alone and I would have, but you were nice to me." I hiccupped. "And I..."

I stop talking from shock when Park kisses me...he really kissed me...it wasn't in my head...he did! I mean is, okay quiet I'm being kissed!

"I'm not used to people liking me Monty." Park sighs.

Why? He was totally hot!

"I work for an evil witch...well I did...but she isn't evil anymore? You understand right?"

I nod yes; it was quite confusing but Yo had a strange way of making people change when he met them. It was usually for the good though, you couldn't help liking him.

"I liked the village, everyone was so nice and you just didn't take no for an answer."

Wait was that good or bad, I can't understand his tone. Yet.

"I really did quit."

"Oh is that what you were shouting at the water?" I ask.

"You heard that?" He's surprised.

"So you weren't possessed." I smile. "That's great! I read a few books but I still didn't find out how to unpossess you or to date a possessed person so I was planning to ask Yo but then things happened and then..."

I stop when he kisses me again.

"You're cute when you ramble." Park smiles.

"Let's date!"

I put my hand over my mouth, shocked at what I said, watching him looking at me surprised.

"Aren't you still mad at me?"

"I was yes, but if we are dating I have more incentive to forgive you faster and..."

"You can tell your cousins you're dating?" He smiles.
