CH 50 - I want my bunny!

Wayo POV

I miss P'Pha. I sigh as I listen to the others talking around me but it's lonely when he isn't here. They should arrive tomorrow, but that seemed so far away. I think P'Beam's missing P'Forth just as much, he's being extra mean to Ming.

"Do something Mayor." The fishmonger stands. "I refuse to allow a fire-breathing dragon into the village that can roast my fish."

After P'Ahn's announcement, the village is having an emergency meeting on the turn of events. The fishmonger always must be the first to put his foot into everything, he needs a hobby.

"Your fish?" Monty snorts. "Shouldn't you worry about your kids?"

There is agreement from the others, I'm not sure to which comment. P'Beam laughs next to me, this has been going on for a while, it started with the full history and now we're getting to this.

"Everyone if you would listen..."

"You need to ban shifters Mayor." The Miller adds.

"Hey!" P'Ryu says annoyed. "Watch it!"

"I didn't mean you, Ryu, you're all family." He points. "I'm talking about the dangerous ones."

"I'm dangerous Uncle Miller!" Duckie pouts. "I have an axe."

Granny Tanner pats her head and reassures Duckie, she really is dangerous.

"Next thing, we will have beasts roaming the forest. "

I sit up straight, my P'Pha could turn into a beast, and he could roam the forest all he wanted! He was cute with soft fluffy fur, it was like hugging a giant teddy bear!

"We want beasts!" The angels interrupt. "They are sexy as hell!"

"We must intervene now..."

"Silence!"

Before I realise it, I'm standing in front of the village, everyone turns their attention from P'Sing to me.

"The family won't be arriving for another week." I tell them.

"Now listen here Yo..."

"The forest has always protected us and as you all know, I'm the forest witch." I tell them seriously. "There are precautions, and shielding barriers in place."

"But Wayo..." The miller starts.

"We will have a solution by the time the family arrives." I glare when the miller boys look ready to say something. "This meeting's concluded."

I stay at the front as the villagers leave chatting amongst themselves.

"Well done Yo." P'Sing pats my shoulder, his smile is a little scary.

"I didn't think they would listen so easily." I say surprised.

"A forest witch's word holds a lot of power, and they know you have been protecting the village." P'Sing grins. "You be the Mayor Yo."

"I refuse." I say and hurry to catch my friends.

He's said that the day I got back as well, after he saw me handle P'Beam and P'Bee.

"Daydreaming for the last hour but snapped when they talked about beasts." P'Arthit laughed. "Hi, Ming."

P'Kit glares when P'Arthit waves and smiles at his husband, before pulling Ming closer to him. It was funny to see P'Kit acting this jealous but Ming was over the moon. My brother wasn't happy since his arrival yesterday, and even less so when our parents invited him to stay with us.
