Nami POV

This really had to happen? Really? Thank you, all the deities in heaven for making it rain when I was on horseback. Is this your way of telling me that running away was a bad idea? Is it?

That stupid cousin of George's! Was defending my honour a bad thing? How dare George not believe me! It was a good thing I liked his grandmother, I understood why she was friends with Gramps, she was awesome but that cousin and aunt...I hope they burn their mouths on hot tea!

I spoke to Gran; she listened and told me stories of when she was young. One involved her running away, so technically she put the idea in my head, she didn't say it but it was indirectly implied...I will stick to this story!

I wasn't the old-fashioned type to stay silent and take injustice! I stood my ground and when that cousin tried to smooch me, I let him have it! I learnt that right hook from P'Bright and P'Forth they were great in a fight. P'Pha was good with a sword and if the need came, I could carve people like a pumpkin.

I glare upwards when it thunders and the rain gets worse, damn the weather. Next time I run away I was going to be more ladylike and take a damn carriage. I stop under a tree when it gets worse. Good thing I was near the village or I would run away from...running away ...

I was cold, I was wet, it was one person's fault. "George you idiot, I'm going to divorce you!"

"But you're not married."

Who the hell said that? I look around for a ghost or a gobbling or a deity infused animal. I see a small bundle huddled on the other side of the tree.

"A midget?"

"It's me P'Nami." The little voice was too chipper for this weather. "And Tony."

"Godt?"

He looks up grinning with the puppy in his lap.

"Why are you here?" I ask dismounting.

"I randed away." He says sadly. "Daddy and Pa didn't come to my party, they don't lobe me."

"Godt...I'm sure they do sweetie, and it's love."

Godt was upset when they didn't come, it was sad seeing him sit eating his cake, and I'm sure he cried. Stupid people we love who don't love us back, I hope heavy boulders fall on your feet!

"I'm going to see Spark, he my friend, he loves me."

"How did you get here by yourself?" I ask realising we were at the crossroads.

"Oh the nice lady gave me and Tony a ride in her cart." He says happily. "And she let us eat the apples and singed songs."

"Godt, you don't go with strangers!" I tell him sternly.

"But she said hello and told me her name so we introduced and not strangers so it okay."

It was logical but anything could have happened to him, and running away was never the solution, I was going to strictly tell him that... who was I kidding, I did the same thing.

"P'Nami do you have any food?" He asks when his stomach growls. "Me and Tony are hungry."

The puppy barks.

"Why would that woman leave you here?" I ask annoyed.

"She had to get home and make sure her stupid husband wasn't humping the trollop next door." He stares at me. "What's a trollop?"
