It takes a little while to explain everything too P'Sing, without saying anything about P'Pha. He listens, as P'New sits nearby, watching her. P'Ahn is a rare breed of dragon that can shapeshift into a human, she had been heading this way to see someone, when she happened to see the beast master and lost her temper.

Whisper: ...buy....

P'New saw to her wing, he helped heal it but it's going to be a few days before she can fly home. P'Sing has asked P'Ahn to stay in human form, for now, the dragon incident is still new, it may frighten the villagers. P'Sing invites her to stay with them until her arm is better, but she's been looking at me sadly for a while.

"Maybe she could stay at my house." I finally say.

P'Sing looks at me, he didn't seem surprised I had asked. I feel a little sick as we leave, heading through the village. As we walk past the tavern, P'Beam and the angels come out singing.

"Yo!" P'Beam staggers over and hugs me. "You're my favourite brother."

He's totally drunk, I thought they were joking but the angels are just as bad. At least with them it won't last long, the magic burns the alcohol off, but P'Beam is going to have a terrible morning.

"OH... you smell wonderful."

I turn to see P'Ahn, she's hugging P'Win and smelling his neck, who looks completely shocked having someone so close. He's the main librarian, having access to some of the rarest and oldest books in the country. Scholars from far and wide come to use the translation volumes, or logs and even old manuscripts to help date findings.

"I..." P'Win clears his throat. "Don't believe we have been introd..."

"I'm Ahn." She smiles up at him. "You smell like books! I love books!"

"I'm the librarian." P'Win says calmly.

"Oh, I see." She looks impressed, then reads the title of the book he was reading. "Have you read the 9 volumes of the first set? Wonderful are they not?"

"You must be mistaken...madam." P'Win seems a little overwhelmed by P'Ahn being so close. "They are lost."

"No silly." P'Ahn tells him.

"The copies were burned in the high archive, many years ago." He says seriously. "I don't make mistakes with such things."

"Yes, the copies." She tells him. "But I have the originals, written by hand."

"You couldn't possibly have them." He frowns. "They were lost at sea..."

"The family sold them before they left port." P'Ahn smiles. "I have them."

"Okay sober up you lot." P'Sing tells the angels.

"No way p!" Monty sways. "We paid ...to ge..t ....drunk."

When P'Sing summons his staff, whacking Monty on the head to sober him, he squeaks, then hiccups, making the tree nearby grow mushrooms...

"P'Sing!" Monty complains.

"Do it! Sober them all including Beam." P'Sing threatens. "I don't want bees to invade again, but I will if you don't!"

It's best if Monty does it, last time P'Sing sobered them, they sneezed together, resulting in an invading swarm that wouldn't leave the village until P'In used magic...yes, it was survival instincts that made them go.

Monty shudders before sobering them up, my brother starts to complain, but P'Sing's taken his arm and walks away, I signal to the angels to follow me, leaving P'Ahn to talk to P'Win.
