Quinn POV

It's been a few weeks since Jamie has been staying over, and I'm getting used to the routine for him being here and everything.

I haven't been one-on-one with Harry in a while. During the week he's usually helping Wendy at her apartment. I don't mind, I understand it's hard dealing with a new born, so I'm getting used to doing my own thing while he's out.

It's Friday night and I wake up to the crying of James. I lift my head off my pillow and look over to Harry who looks to be in a deep sleep.

I get of bed slowly and head to Jamie's nursery. The light in his room is dim by the night light that has a reflection of small stars. I hover over Jamie's crib and see his small self still crying. I haven't held him since the first day he came home, which was nearly three weeks ago.

Whenever Harry tries to pass him over to me, or he asks if I want to hold him, I become stiff and I make up an excuse like I need to go to the bathroom or blow my nose. I just feel weird holding James, mostly because I don't want to be attached I think.

I slowly pick up Jamie who is crying, and cradle him in my arms like how I did a few weeks ago. His head comfortably rests on me and his crying simmers down. I smile gentle and stroke his rosy cheek softly.

I turn to the doorway and see Harry. He's rubbing his tired eyes and looks very exhausted. "I heard him crying." He says in a low yawn.

"Yeah, I didn't want to wake you up, you looked peaceful. But um," I pause, not knowing what else to say. "He probably wants you though so." I walk over to Harry and place his son down his arms.

I soon walk back to our shared bedroom and climb back into bed. I face towards my nightstand and pull the covers to my chin. I close my eyes and soon fall fast asleep. I try to forget the fact that I enjoyed holding James.

I wake up to my alarm ringing loudly. I groan in discomfort by the sound and turn it off by pressing around on my screen for a while.

I lay back down in bed and feel Harry's arms are around me comfortably. His head is on my shoulder, which makes me smile. As much as I love the spot I am with him right now, I have to get ready for my meeting at noon.

I move from the spot I'm in slowly and feel Harry twitch a little. "It's Saturday, where are you going?" He asks tiredly.

"Meeting at noon. It's nine now, I have to get ready." I explain in a hushed whisper.

"You always have meetings. Why can't we get a morning together?" He asks, making me frown a little.

"Tomorrow can be our morning." I come up with.

"I'm leaving at nine tomorrow morning to hire some new hostess." He says briefly with a sigh.

"Who's watching James then?" I ask curiously, furrowing my eyebrows.

"My Mom," Harry answers with a yawn. I nod, and fiddle with my lower lip. I soon slip out of bed and I hear him groan. "Do you really have to go?"

"Yes," I say while looking at his shirtless self. "I'll be back at two. We can have the rest of the afternoon and night together." I add.

"Okay." He says while yawning. He turns to the opposite side of the mattress after I leave our room.

I turn on the shower and grab clean towels. Before I walk back to the bathroom, I head to Jamie's room to check on him. He hasn't cried at all, which is weird because he usually wakes up at seven.

I walk into his room and look over his crib and see he's awake, just staring around. I smile at his small self and pull his blanket up more so he doesn't get cold. I stroke the top of his head and just observe James. He's around one month now, which is weird to think about.

I soon exit his bedroom and head to the bathroom to get into my shower.

I get home around two-thirty.

The meeting was shit, as it always is, and I barely knew that anyone was talking about because I kept zoning out.

I walk into the foyer and hear the downstairs is silent, minus the sound of the TV playing from a distance. I put my purse down on the staircase and slip off my heels. I soon head over to the living room, calling Harry's name.

When I walk into the room, I see him laying on the couch with Jamie on his chest. My heart swells at the sight of both of them sleeping on the couch together.

I take a quick photo of the two napping and exit the living room to get changed out of my work clothes. My feet are a bit sore from the heels and my stomach feels free when I unzip my tight dress.

I plop down on my mattress and let out a deep sigh. I'm tired, but I don't want to take a nap. It will mess up my sleep schedule. I put on a pair of shorts and put on a baggy tee shirt that I've had for years. I walk into the bathroom to remove all my makeup and pull my hair into a messy bun.

When I return to the bedroom, I see Harry sitting on the mattress, rubbing his eyes. "Had a good nap?" I ask.

"What time did you get home?" He asks, yawning.

"A few minutes ago." I say, sitting beside him.

"How was your meeting? Fun?" Harry asks, turning to face me.

"Eh, it could've been better," I say honestly. "How was your afternoon?"

"Good. I didn't do much, mostly slept." He tells me.

"Where is he now? Crib?" I ask Harry who's staring at me. I smile gently, causing his dimples to appear on his rosy cheeks.

"He is." He says, leaning in. His lips press against mine softly, easing my nerves. My arms hook around his neck, pulling him closer towards my body. His hands rest on my lower back and we just kiss for a few moments.

When I pull away, he groans, making me snicker. "I should start making dinner." I say.

"Can't we have some alone time first?" He asks, his voice emphasizes on alone time. "Since Jamie has been born we haven't you know, had a lot of time alone. I'd like to be with you for a while before you leave to do something."

"Has that your way of saying you miss me?" I ask, laughing a little.

"Yes." He says, laughing himself.

"Okay," I say smiling softly. "What about we order in and watch a movie?" I offer.

"Sounds like a plan." Harry leans in and kisses me. "I love you."

"I love you too." I say, poking his dimple.

We start talking about different things, mostly about my meeting since he was curious. Then he filled me on his agenda for the week and what not. I guess we're making it work in our own way.
