summary : in which your boyfriend grayson spends more time with his best friend who just so happens to be a girl and you show him how it feels when you start to hang out with Ethan.

It's been 2 hours and you were still sat at an empty table.

You made plans with Grayson to have lunch at this new restaurant you wanted to show him and though he promised to show up, he failed to keep up to his promise.

The waitress came by with a sorrowful face probably knowing you were stood up.

"Would you like the check mam?" She asked kindly.

In the two hours you ordered a drink and an appetizer since you were waiting for Grayson.

"Yes that would be great thank you," you fought back the tears reaching in your purse for your wallet as she walks away to get your check.

After paying your bill and taking one last sip of your strawberry lemonade you stood up and left.

You stomped your way to your car and drove to the apartment you share with Grayson.

He's been so flaky lately and it annoyed you but it hurt you more than anything. You couldn't help but think he was going to dump you.

You searched for your apartment key when you began to hear voices inside of the apartment. Grayson's voice was loud and clear but you couldn't hear the other voice too well.

Assuming it was Ethan you unlocked the door and let yourself in.

They didn't hear you enter to focused on the movie that played on the screen.

"Honey I'm-" you spoke as you walked to the front of the couch to finally see it wasn't Ethan but it was Alexa, his best friend.

"Oh hey baby," Grayson said before continuing his conversation with Alexa, not even bothering to glance in your direction.

"Hi (Y/N)," Alexa smiled awkwardly. It was always quite awkward between you two.

The awkward silence continued and Alexa took the hint.

"Grayson I think I should start heading home," she tried to get up but he prevented her from doing so.

"What the best part is coming up," he munched on his chips while pointing at the tv.

They were watching Coco, which was your favorite movie.

"I want to give you and (Y/N) some alone couple time," she spoke which you smiled at her as a thank you but Grayson opened his mouth again.

"(Y/N) doesn't mind, just leave after the movie yea?" Grayson said still not paying mind to you.

"It's fine, stay Alexa, finish the movie. I'll be in my room," you smiled warmly at her before leaving.

Grayson was pretty much either oblivious to your presence or he just didn't care.

You flopped yourself onto the bed and felt a warm tear trickle down your cheek. He made you feel like this for more than a month already and you weren't sure how much longer you could take.

With tears rolling down your face you knew you didn't want Grayson seeing you like this. You just weren't in the mood to deal with his questions right now.

Pulling out your cellphone you called Ethan.

"Hey (Y/N), what's up?" His voice said through the phone.
