summary : in which you find out your side man of a month is your boyfriend's new friend.

Grayson held your hand as you proceeded to your seats which was smack dab center in the first row.

The arena was filled with sounds from young teenagers who were excited to see Shawn.

Sitting for a few minutes the lights went out, signaling the beginning of the concert.

Screams erupted and fans began to stand up in anticipation for Shawn's entrance.

You and Grayson stood with the rest of the crowd when a big blue ball appeared at the center of the arena.

The lights were beautiful and enchanting and being there with Grayson in that moment put everything at ease for a few minutes.

Shawn's face then appeared on the screens with the name of his tour as the band began to play.

Without notice Shawn then appeared onstage and though the screams were ear piercingly loud, it felt as if you couldn't hear anything but the pounding of your nervous heart.

"What's up Los Angeles!" Shawn screamed into the mic sending fans into a frenzy.

Grayson cheered as he put his arm around you.

The lights flashed and the music started.

The crowd danced and cheered as so did you and Grayson but throughout the night you could feel Shawn's eyes glued to you.

The concert was more than halfway through when Shawn announced his next song into the mic.

"The next song I'm going to be doing hits home for me and I hope she knows it's about her," Shawn side glanced you which went seemingly unnoticed by Grayson.

The beginning strum of the song made you immediately freeze.

It was a song Shawn wrote not too long ago called 'Ruin'.

He sang the first verse not breaking eye contact with you. Holding your breath you prayed that Grayson didn't notice this.

"And I'm not trying to ruin your happiness baby, but darling don't you know that I'm the only one for you," Shawn sang passionately, his eyes boring into yours.

Grayson felt a twitch in his heart as he watched Shawn sing in a desperate tone.

He noticed the way Shawn's eyes didn't leave yours and he noticed the nervous hold you had on his hand as you looked at Shawn the way you look at him.

Swallowing the lump in his throat he could sense the tension between you and Shawn right in that moment.

Anyone with eyes could see that Shawn was singing to you.

You felt Grayson's hand leave yours, causing you to snap your head up at him.

Grayson was already leaving the aisle, slumped shoulders as he felt there was something going on.

You looked back at Shawn who couldn't have cared less the Grayson was leaving, he only cared that you realized how much he loved you.

You let out the breath you were holding as you shook your head running after Grayson, your actual boyfriend and the guy you genuinely love.

Fans around you noticed the interaction going on and were questioning what was happening.

Your feet ran as fast as the could as you followed Grayson backstage.
