Truths and Lies

Nightmare stood on the spiked flag pole holding Dream with his tentacles.

"Listen to me Dream! We ARE trying to help you! We have a mole! So I can't say anything BUT no! Even if I wanted to help you or not!!" Nightmare whispered harshly.

"Meet Cross at his AU, despite his dumb appearance he is smart guy, he will help you dissolve a plan and he will patch us in. Meet him before lunch today or we won't help you." Nightmare instructed and dropped Dream knowing Dream would teleport to safety, but Nightmare didn't teleport until he saw Dream do so. 

Nightmare landed into his throne and he laid in it. Nightmare smiled lazily and looked at his 'subjects' and laughed.

"Stupid idiot coming to me for help!" Nightmare did a fake hearty laugh.

Dream was pissed, Nightmare didn't need to drop him from the roof. He began searching for Error, but his mind kept wondering to what Nightmare said, Dream was going to need Nightmares help so he had to visit Cross in Cross' AU, but Dream wasn't happy doing this one bit.

Error was still in the crumbling AU, too weak and tired to get out himself so he sat there watching the AU's crumbling process slow down, Fate had slowed it, as long as Error was in there Fate wouldn't let the AU die completely. Error was forced to listen to the remaining monsters die and scream out for mercy or death as the AU's destruction slowed down even more. 'Maybe Ink would come and end me... Wait, but what about Dream? I can't do that to him.' Error thought.

Dream sighed and entered Cross' AU and looked for him.

"Hey! I'm here!... idiot." Dream mumbled the last part. Cross was behind Dream he leaned on his large knife.

"Remember the time you were hellbent on destroying Nightmare and you were trying to reform me? I kinda miss those days, I wasn't insulted as much." Cross said casually. Dream growl and rolled his eyes, he didn't have the patience to deal with Cross' antics.

"Well let not try to focus on the time that you called me weak when I just wanted help to save Error. And you guys just laughed at me!" Dream turned and growled at Cross.

"I was just joking sheesh. You know we still need that mole... I honestly think it's Red, but hey he has proved his loyalty multiple times..." Cross got lost in his thoughts. Dream cleared his throat snapping Cross out of his thoughts. Cross clapped his hands together.

"Alright so lets get started your working FOR us now. You have to keep convincing Ink that you are still loyal to him, so pretending to betray Error will work, I will let him know when I see him again what we are going to do. We will accept your idea to fight with Ink, but you keep Nightmare SAFE." Cross glared at Dream, Cross didn't continue until Dream nodded.

"Nightmare will will fight Ink off if Error is too badly injured for us to continue with plan A." Cross informed.

"If Ink asks how you got us here say blackmail and he will likely buy it. You can't interfere by protecting Error even if he is about to die, or you will give us away, so just protect Nightmare and us if you need to. Once Error is weak enough Nightmare will take him Error to the Castle. And if Error so happens to fall in battle we will save him the gang including myself will save Error if he falls down in battle." Cross said

"Any doubts? Questions? Good now go and convince Ink you are still loyal while I find Error." Cross said and disappeared. Dream sigh, and teleported to UnderSwap and reported to Ink.

"I'm back!" Dream smiled and sang in a fake cheerful voice. Ink was sitting on the back of couch, and Stretch didn't like that one bit, but he could do nothing but glare at him. Ink looked a bit upset, but Dream didn't really have the chance to ask why.

"Did you get Nightmare and his Gang to join us?" Ink asked in a somewhat monotone voice. Dream sighed and shook his head.

"Nightmare doesn't like either of us, his gang is too ruthless to make that kind of deal without consequences." Dream answered, he knew the plan, and he knew what he had to do.

"So that's a no? I thought you could do it, he is your brother after all." Ink sounded disappointed. ream pretended to be upset that Ink was disappointed by the news.

"So sorry Ink! It was a no." Dream shied away. Ink dismissed it as an idea came to him. 

"I'll get Red to do it since he is so close with them." Ink said and jumped off the couched he looked in Dream's eye as he said this, Ink looked serious, making Blue a little nervous as he watched from the kitchen. 

"Can you do me a favor?" Ink asked as he grabbed Dream's shoulder, he squeezed it a bit, but his hand sat there loosely. Dream almost flinch and hide it with a nodded, as he internally panicked.

"I want you to fight along side with me. Error destroyed your AU so you have every right to strike him down. So how about riding the multiverse of him with me, by my side?" Ink asked holding his other hand out. A friendly smile on his face and a sinister look in his eye sockets.

"Okay Ink." Dream agreed, this was how he was going to 'betray' Error. Ink took Dream's hand and shook it.

"Thanks pal!" Ink said almost sarcastically.

A/N: I was looking at pictures of Ink and look what I found! That is a pretty cool picture of Cross! And it was the emotion I was looking for on Ink!
