Fate At First Glance

A/N: LOOK HOW BEAUTIFUL HE IS!! I know it has no relevance to the story, but he is gorgeous!!! I am all giddy and excited now!!! X3

Error was in the Anti-VOID, he hadn't moved since he fell back into it, two days ago. His wounds weren't healing as properly as he or someone else in particular would like.

"Error!!" Dream flinched and ran over to Error and tried to heal him as quickly as he could. Error didn't attempt to greet him, he only looked tiredly at Dream and strained to hear him over the screaming Voices.

'USELESS!!'

'PATHETIC!!'

'WORTHLESS!!!'

Error was covered in new wounds, wounds Ink couldn't make. Fate had gotten bored once again, taking it out on Error claiming he wasn't doing his job as an excuse.

Dream pulled up Error kissing him as he began to heal him, Error couldn't do anything back as he felt something horrible, he wanted to tell Dream to leave. Dream pulled away petting Error's head gently. Error lurched and blood spewed out of his mouth, his whole body glitched and lagged as he hacked up more blood. 

Dream whimpered as he rubbed Error's back trying to help him. Error screamed as a message was carved on the back of his skull. 'LEAVE!!' The message said.

'Kill him!'

'Get rid of him!!'

'GET HIM OUT OF MY VOID!!!!' 

Error whimpered as the voices shrieked orders at him, Error did nothing the voices said. Dream froze and growled, his aura darkened a bit.

"Who's doing this to you?" Dream asked, Dream healed it not wanting it to continue. "I don't want you to hurt anymore! So TELL ME Error who is hurting you!" Dream pushed when Error didn't answer. Error gagged and sobbed as another message was carved into his skull again.

'LEAVE NOW!!!!' The message read, Error covered his ears, though it didn't help a single bit, he wanted to block the voices screams. Dream chuckled harshly, healing the markings away. 

"I'm not leaving my Ruru!" Dream shouted. Dream fed Error happy memories though there weren't a lot to choose from to begin with, Error soaked them in. He half smiled and cried as Fate sucked them away from him. 

Error howled as a sickening crunch sounded through the Anti-VOID, several finger bones fell off of Error's hand.

"I have an idea Ruru! Don't believe in Fate, I bet their powers are based on belief! So don't believe in them!!" Dream shook and quickly healed the bones back on.

"FaTE iS AlL THerE Is iN hERe!" Error wailed as Fate continued to shrill in his head. Fate only grew louder with each moment in the Anti-VOID.

"t-ta-TAke M-m-ME oUT Of h-h-hErE!!!" Error begged as he felt his arm twist and snap off. He shrilled in pain as he grabbed for it. Dream picked all of Error up and opened a portal to Dreamtale, some strings fell from the ceiling and chased the two. Dream jumped into the AU and fell to his knees dropping Error sending him rolling. Dream grabbed Error continuing heal him as he dagged him back to the tree.

"Error! Please! If you don't believe in Fate this won't happen!!" Dream begged and screamed as a string grabbed him. Dream closed the portal cutting the string, rushing back to Error.

"i-I-I'Ve TrIeD!! N-n-n-N-No Lu-lU-lUCK." Error's voice glitched harshly. Error struggled to stay awake as Dream healed him and spoke.

"That's because you truly believe they are there!" Dream held Error carefully. Sighing and he dropped the conversation as Error got weaker and weaker. He was still breathing fine, but he didn't move. Dream smiled and used magic to make Error go to sleep. Error let his eyes shut, drifting off to sleep, only to have one hell of a nightmare.

Slow, soft footsteps crunched in the dead leaves of the dying tree Dream and Error sat under. Dream was too busy finish healing Error to notice.

"So... It's true..." A familiar voice sighed sadly, he sounded a little hurt by this discovery.
