A Brother's Promise

It took a few hours for Dream to calm Red down, he had to drag Red off the floor and on to the couch and wrapped a blanket around him. When Red finally did calm down he still wasn't all too safe to let go of, though he let go anyway letting Red spread himself out, but watching closely.

Red looked at Dream as an idea came to his head and he grabbed Dream's hands.

"He-help u-u-us e-e-escape! P-p-please!" Red pleaded.

"Of course I will!" Dream nodded Red relaxed at this knowledge.

"But how can I help?" Dream asked Red tensed.

"Y-y-you're h-h-his f-f-favorite H-H-He'll do things f-f-for y-you th-th-that he wouldn't do f-f-for the r-rest of us!!" Red explained.

"I-I'm his favorite?! How?!" Dream asked terrified.

"H-h-h-he let me in here!!" Red shushed herself and squeezed Dream's hands tightly in fear, but quickly let go when Dream yelped. Red rubbed his wounds, scars, and metal, the painful action seemed to soothe him so Dream let him be.

'How can I get Red to trust me? The only person her sometimes remotely trusted was his... HIS BROTHER!!! That's it! I can set up a system, I'll call it the Brother system! Anyone who comes in here are to be treated like a brother!! Well beside Ink and Red's clone...' Dream growled at the there being two Reds, one being stuck here and the other living the real Red's life!! Dream smiled nervously at Red, who had jumped when he heard Dream growl.

Dream grabbed Red's skull, but Red pulled away almost taking the off Red's bandanna Red grabbed it and tightening it back on, but it still started slipping. Dream ignored it for the time being telling Red what he discovered.

"We're brothers now until we all get out of here or even long after that! Okay?" Dream asked putting his hands down, Red nodded skeptically. Holding the back of his bandanna to keep it on. Red gave Dream a fake weak smile.

"We can sleep for now since we can't do anything else really." Dream chuckled, Red nodded getting off the bed, Dream pulled him back on scared to be alone.

"Y-y-you c-c-can sl-sl-sleep... I-I-I'll l-l-listen f-f-for him." Red sighed understanding Dream's fear, he got back on the bed and Dream smiled.

"Just wake me up if HE comes. Okay?" Dream asked already nodding off. Red nodded and Dream relaxed into the bed. Red began listening, he flinched at every sound tensed at everything.

Footsteps began heading down the hall. Red jumped to his feet the momentum knocking Dream off the bed. Read looked at Dream and to the door quickly jumping off the bed and helping Dream up he started at the door freezing up.

"A-a-a-are y-y-you o-o-o-okay?" Red asked beginning to back farther than he already was from the door, he listened intently to Ink's footsteps and ignoring the panicked shouts from two monsters. Dream nodded.

"Just fell, otherwise I'm fine!" Dream smiled, he was obvious to the noise. When Dream fully stood up Red saw his back was bleeding. 'He's going to blame me!!' Red almost fell.

"S-shit! Y-y-you're bleeding!" Red examined Dream's back, Red tried to make it stop as Ink slowly unlocked the door. Red jumped away from Dream slamming himself against the wall fresh blood on his hands.

"Is Red you there?" Ink joked opening the door. Red looked at Dream terrified that he would say anything.

"Yes... but he was trying to help me stop bleeding from something my brother did..." Dream answered, Red whimpered sinking to the floor, still pressing himself hard against the wall.

Ink's smile faltered. He shoved Blue and Sci in grabbing Red's faded, faintly glowing SOUL.

"I'll reward him for his efforts." Ink smile came back, Blue and Sci shrunk back from Ink. Red screamed clawing whatever he could to stay in the room.

"NO!! NO!! I WAS JUST HELPING HIM!! I PROMISE!! PLEASE!! GOD NO!! NO!!!!" Red wailed as Ink slammed the door and locked it, Red continued to scream and even called for Dream's help, but received none as Ink dragged Red further and further away.
