"So tell me what's going on with you and Grayson?" Emma asked leaning forward while taking a sip of her coffee. Of course, where else would they be but Philz. She'd been dying to take Matilda there ever since she moved out to LA.
"Nothing. Why does everyone think something's going on between us?" Matilda ran her hand over her face and let out an exaggerated sigh.
"Dude have you seen the way he looks at you? Its literally like the way Ethan looks at me." Emma said.
"I don't believe you." Matilda shrugged and tide her hair up, messily like usual. She wished he did look at her like that because it'd mean that he actually liked her and saw her as more than just Emma's best friend.
She thought it was unlikely; he was a god and she was average.
"Well he does." Emma said just as Matilda got a notification. "Who's that from?" Matilda blushed but didn't answer her "Speak of the devil." Emma smirks looking over at Matilda's phone to see who had sent her a message.
