A New Family

His Mom and Dad never see eye to eye..
Tin grew up seeing his parents being indifferent with each other.

He understood everything.
He never asked any questions.

Why?
It's just simple.
As parents, they were great.
They never lack support nor deprived him of anything.

But..

Not as a couple.

They both grew tired of their marriage.
They were from two different worlds..
His mother grew up with a silver spoon in her mouth.
His dad had to earn that.

His grand parents met their Dad when he was younger.

He was working part time at a gas station then, when his grand father went out to go to the bathroom,
he was mugged and his Dad saved his life.

His mom grew up getting all the attention.
In just a snap of a finger,

she can buy anything she wants but she was a brat,

a classic spoiled little rich girl.

After college, she declined to work.
And that both got her parents upset.
So they threatened to disown her..

Unless she marries and make someone fall in love with her.

They gave her a photo and the name of the person.

As dumb as it may seem, his mom was afraid to loose everything...

So she took the challenge..

And that lucky one.. was his father.

She was the one who initiated their meeting.
She courted his father.

But his dad was set on how he can become successful on his career after college.

He was earning well and keeps getting promoted..

He never paid attention to love.
He wanted to marry once he is stable and successful.

His mom worked hard to make his dad fall in love with her, and finally she succeeded..

And they thought their love was strong enough..
But they fell out of love..

His father learned the truth.

And the rest was history..

Such a cliche right?

They separated.

And Tin went abroad with his mom..
Not that he wanted to..
but, his mother needs him more than his dad.

When he heard his father was remarrying.

He wasn't against the idea of it.

In fact, he was happy that he decided to also move forward with his life.

He is nineteen already,
and he wants to be independent
but, he won't be able to do that if he is with his mom.

His mom was always against him working.
They fought a lot.
His mom is living like a single rich young woman.
Back to her old habits.
He and his mother had a started a silent war, and;

After not speaking with each other for a month.
She finally agreed, provided he always get in touch with her.

Living with his mom was good
but he didn't have to work hard for anything and he never wished an easy life.
