I'm Relieved

Tin sat down stagnant for minutes after Clay left.
He remembers the shock on Clay's face after hearing the call for a Doctor named Tan Lee.

"Is it possible that he's the same person?"
Tin shook his head..
"I have no rights to get intrigued by other people's personal affairs, when I still have things to settle on my own"

He looked blankly at the wall.
"Will there come a time that I and Can.."
"Would have to separate?"
He sighed and looked down..
"Right, I'm still wearing my ID."
He took it off and put in his pocket.

"Should I notify Dad and Alyssa?"
He took out his phone.. then put it back on his pocket.
"No.. I can't.. Can is fine now.."
"And if I did.. they would insist for sure that the they have to move with them."

When they went back from their honeymoon.
Their parents asked them to come by to the house.
They immediately went as Can missed his mom so much.

They had a long talk and were asked to move in with them so they can be like normal families..

Tin politely declined their offer, as they can never be like such.
Can on the other hand promised he'll think about it..

"Will this make Can decide to move in with his mom and leave me alone?" Tin washed his face with his palms.

"This was an accident.."
"No one was at fault.. surely Can will not leave me right?"
He stood up..

"Guess, I won't know unless I ask."
"But when is the right time to ask him?"
"Maybe Can is right.. we shouldn't have moved too fast and took the chance to get to know each other more.."

He opened the door.
He saw Can lying down but his eyes were opened.

Tin rushed to his lover.
"Can.."
He called out his name with a shaky voice.

"Oh.. Tin."
Can answered in a raspy tone.

Tin sat down beside him.
"How are you feeling?!"

Can smiled and looked at his lover..
"I'm fine Tin.."
"Did you worry too much?"
He asked as he can see Tin's face filled with heavyness and fear.

Tin gently nodded..
Can grabbed his hand then tried to sat down..
Tin assisted the little man..

Can smiled..
"The first time I was brought to the hospital was when we didn't knew I was allergic to nuts."
He looked at Tin.
"Mom said I was just five or six that time."
"A neighbor bought pesto at the house then and I ate a lot of it."
"Then I couldn't breathe and was rushed to the hospital."

"Ever since then, Mom was really careful with anything she prepares and even when we go out to dine, she would ask directly for the restaurants manager to give them instructions."

Can squeezed Tin's hand..
"Whenever I get an accidental ingestion of nuts."
"I panic a lot and Mom is the very first person I look for."
"But at school.. that was the very first time I struggled to stand on my own and go to the clinic.."

"And it felt weird Tin.. because I didn't search for mom."
"I actually tried to find a way to aid myself even If I collapsed."

"So, You don't have to worry okay.. I'm fine."
He looked at Tin with a beaming light on his face.

Tin looked at Can..
And pulled him tight in an embrace.

"Can.."
He called out..
"Speaking of our parents. Have you reached a decision?"
Tin asked hoping Can would say no..
