'Well, I could have easily predicted this, now how is Agent Washington going to react?' Tau thought.

"What is going on?" Wash said.

"Wash, stay calm. We can explain." Church said.

"I don't want explanations, I want the truth. Now. When were you gonna tell me about this?" Wash said angrily.

"Okay, maybe I should start from the beginning. You see, Caboose here, killed me by accident once. Well actually, more than once." Church said, probably confusing Wash more than if he didn't speak.

"Not my fault. Tucker did it." Caboose muttered in his sleep. I nearly laughed, Caboose always says that.

"Shut up." Church said, looking down at Caboose.

"He killed you. As in... dead." Wash said, sounding extremely confused.

"Then we reached an agreement. I built Blue over here a new body-" Sarge said before Church cut him off.

"Agreement? More like we kicked your ass, and you didn't have much of a choice of what you wanted to do." Church said.

'Neither side won in that, it was more of just a weird, awkward trade that went sideways when O'Malley arrived.' Tau thought to me.

'I know, but they are always going to argue about it.' I thought back.

"Who kicked what now?" Sarge asked.

"What're you, an idiot?" Simmons said.

"You wanna take that back." Sarge said.

I stopped listening at this point.

"Stop. Focus. How did you build him a body?" Wash said, breaking up the argument.

"With a robot kit of course. I'd already used ours to build our helper. Lopez." Sarge said like that was a normal thing. I already knew from the day I arrived at the cannon that them having an advanced robot kit was insane, especially Lopez The Heavy, he sort of is like in A.I. construct in ways, but not really. Still, it is amazing how nearly human he is.

"And a mighty fine job you did too, sir.." Simmons said.

"Yeheah, it's always great to have a helper no one can understand." Grif said.

I raised my hand.

"Except the mute lady who, yet again, no one really understands. Except Caboose but that isn't really helpful." Grif pointed out.

'Funny, they forgot that Tucker understood some of it.... mostly because he got tired of you punching him every time he misinterpreted what you were saying.' Tau thought.

'Well, Tucker didn't want others to think he was too smart, especially in front of Sister. Honestly I thought said explanation was stupid.' I thought back.

"Blue Team hadn't used theirs for some reason, and they even had an extra. We used that for your buddy, uh, whatsername." Sarge said, already having forgotten Tex's name.

"And that didn't strike anyone as odd? That you would have a kit to build a robot that looks like a soldier?" Wash said.

'Nope, not with this group.' Tau thought.

"That's just standard issue equipment. Right?" Simmons said questioningly.

"What? No. Have you ever run in to anyone else who has one?" Wash said, his voice getting higher pitched in his shock at the situation.

"We don't really get out that often." Simmons pointed out.

'No shit,' I thought, 'We spent five years in a box canyon, in the middle of no where. It is for that very reason I'm not sitting in a jail cell or dead right now.'
