I turned the gun forward, prepared to expose myself if it saves Tau. He's my closest friend and I ain't gonna loose him.

'Thanks, Mutey.' Tau replied to that thought.

'It's true.' I pointed out.

Wash went to stand by the bay opener button, "Alright. Stick to the plan. Just run. Get Epsilon out of here. Turn it over to the authorities the first chance you get." Wash said.

'Ya, I hope not, unless it is directly to the UNSC. No splinter groups.' I thought.

'Agreed, also, he will be the only other A.I. left...' Tau thought, pointing out that the Alpha had jumped to Wash, I guess Wash convinced him.

'So, we will keep him safe.' I replied to Tau.

"Just drive. When the E.M.P. goes off-" Wash said.

"You mean the Emp?" Caboose said.

"Stop it. It will destroy Epsilon if you're not far enough away." Wash said.

"You got it, Mister Washington." Caboose said. I had I knife prepared to throw at the gas if Caboose stops. Not an original idea but it will work.

"Take care of yourself, guys. I know that's one thing you're good at." Wash said as he looked a Church, even thought Church was no longer there.

'Goodbye, creator.' Tau thought as Wash opened at the doors and Caboose started the engine.

"He's gonna be on you as soon as you clear the gate. Be ready to move. Protect the Blues' vehicle at any cost." Wash said the the reds.

"Protect the Blues, right, yeah. We'll get riiight on that shit." Sarge grumbled in annoyance.

We race out, me swiveling the gun to check the area.

'Just stay calm, Tau. We will make it.' I thought to him.

'Ya.... scanning for nearby targets....' Tau replied.

Washington's fake communication came over our radio's, "That's it. Lead the Meta as far away from the base as possible."

We drove until we around a corner and watched for The Meta. Some time passed until we saw him race off towards the base, towards Wash.

"He's fallen for it, gun it Grif!" Simmons called out.

"Hold on, everyone." Grif said as he gunned the engine, Caboose right on his heels, moving out in front of the reds. I kept an eye out, my hand on the hidden knife. I could literally feel the tension in Tau.

"Caboose, watch out for that rock!" Grif called out as I grabbed on tighter as Caboose hit the rock, knocking out Church's empty body.

"Oh no! Church!" Caboose said as he stopped.

"What the hell are you doing, why are you stop-" Grif began to say as I threw the knife with accuracy only a freelancer or mercenary can have, the knife sticking in the gas pedal and making the warthog shoot forward.

"Woah!" Grif called out.

Soon they had caught up with us, Caboose trying to steer now that he can't slow down the warthog.

"Little lady! Where the heck did you learn to throw like that!" I heard Sarge call. I ignored them, watching Caboose's driving, luckily Caboose was actually trying to drive.

We kept driving and I looked back in worry and saw, distantly, power lines exploding.

'T-The.... P-P-pulse....' Tau thought in pure fear.

'WE. WILL. MAKE. IT.' I practically shouted in my mind.

"Here comes the pulse, don't stop!" Simmons called from behind us.

'He can't stop, idiot! My knife is stuck in the gas pedal!' I thought.

I looked back worriedly as the E.M.P. shut down the red's warthog. My head was full of nothing but Tau's all encompassing fear.

"Ah, shit, it stalled!" I heard Grif yell.

"Go go go!" Sarge called.

"Get Epsilon out of here, don't worry about us!" Grif yelled.

"Okay! I'm scared!" Caboose called out.

I closed my eyes as Caboose ran straight into sawhorses, knocking us off course.

"Watch where you're going!" I heard Simmons call.

"No!" Grif called.

"Nnyaaaaaaaa-" Caboose yells as our warthog goes flying off a cliff.

'Oh shit, were going to die.' I thought as I saw the fall.

Then, everything went black as we hit the ground.

Oooooooo..... cliffhanger...... lol. Enjoy! Also, because I haven't added it to every chapter. I DO NOT own Red vs. Blue, that's Rooster Teeth. I own my OC's and THAT'S IT! I wouldn't want to steal RVB's work anyways, they make the best episodes and I like it that way! This is just my idea of adding an OC character to the plot. That's it.
