I chewed on the dried food in one of the crates. It was flavorless but it's something to eat. I later found where Tucker was practicing. Honestly, it nearly made me laugh. Tucker had made a dummy from metal bars and sand bags, which he spray painted and awful mix of brown and white. I couldn't deny that he is way better at fighting than I remember him to be. I can still beat his ass if I actually used my full potential. But, oh well.
Tau went back to processing the information from Project Freelancer, he has enough to keep him preoccupied for a long while.
Honestly, I was bored out of my mind.
I looked around the dully lit sandstone temple for something interesting to do.
'Hmmmm.....' I thought, looking at the crates before shrugging as I stood. I popped open the first one and found just a ton of cloth, probably for this strong desert heat. I closed it and moved on. Next on held....spray paints? I guess it was to mark potential places in the temple.
I smirked, staring at the spray cans. As a kid I loved art, as a teen I participated in graffiti when I shouldn't have, as an adult though... I kind of forgot about art. Then I arrived at Blood Gulch and put graffiti on red base as often as possible, mostly strongly girly things. Donut loved it but Sarge and the others hated it.
I took out a spray can of orange and looked at the wall before spray painting away.

"Hey, Mutey, want to check out whats going on out-" I heard Tucker began to say, making me drop the spray can, luckily it didn't ruin my butterfly I was spray painting.
"Really, Mutey? This is an ancient alien temple and your putting graffiti in it?" Tucker questioned.
I shrugged and picked up the spray can, finishing off the antenna.
I turned to him and signed, 'You know as well as I can this stuff can come off easily, I was just bored.'
"Ok, I get that, but why not just do more of your weird meditation stuff." Tucker said.
I crossed my arms.
"Fine, fine, Geez, women." He muttered.
I let that pass, this time.
"Well, there's tiny hidden holes in the wall that I have been watching them from, bet you could use your sniper rifle to keep watch on them if that keeps you entertained enough. I really wish you would have brought more people to help me bust out of this place and protect the artifact." He muttered as he walked away.
I smirked, 'Oh, if only you knew, Tucker. I could probably take half these guys on my own.' i thought.
I went searching for the tiny holes and found what Tucker meant. I took my sniper rifle off and lined it up with one, looking out.
'Tau?' I asked as I studied the moving soldiers outside.
'Yep?' He asked.
'Audio?' I asked.
'Gotcha.' He said and soon I could hear them talking outside.
"....doors impossible to open.... ordered something to get around that.... should arrive tomorrow.... Kate still not found?.... Darn it." I heard.
I nodded happily, they didn't connect the mysterious brightly colored soldier to missing Kate, I'm in the clear. Now, what about this thing they ordered? It would have to be a particularly big vehicle to break down these doors.
I put my sniper rifle away and sneaked through the temple till I found Tucker. He was passed out over some crates. I keep looking till I found a far off untouched room.
