I sighed, actually aloud, glad that Tau installed that mute for my helmet. It is nice to have sounds completely muffled from the outside so I don't loose my voice again. I leaned up against the rock, head laid back, being a bit lazy to be honest. I miss oreos and chocolate cake, donuts and Sopapillas with honey. I miss that amazing triple chocolate cake I could order for free every other month with the Blue Base account. I miss Pepsi's and high in sugar drinks.

I mostly miss having a giant amount of hidden snacks and able to eat them to my hearts content. I often feel a bit shaky or weak anymore but it's starting to pass as my high metabolism grows used to no sugar in my diet. I glanced out of the edge of my eye to see Wash and Tucker standing in front of the cave Wash set up.

I personally had fun setting up part of that cave with Tau's help. I told Wash in sign language that I need to be quiet, that the sensors were triggered but it might just be an animal. The reds have not been alerted yet but Tau and I don't want the thing watching us to get suspicious. Wash promised that next time he has to visit the reds he will let them know of me going back to being silent. I have no idea how the reds will take that news.

Both Tau and I agree we need to be secretive on this. So I have fallen back into my 'Mutey' persona with ease, playing games with Caboose, acting like a semi-competent soldier, being silent, and doing stupid things.

Like hanging my body over on of the edges of the base with my hands reaching towards the distant ground. I really enjoy being stupid and, if my actions need to be more so to convince our unwanted audience, I don't care. I also had fun setting up targets and Tau had fun make it look like a slipped and fell for the bullet to bounce of several rocks and hit the target, sometimes even straight on.

Both Tau and I upped our game in acting more like a sim trooper, because we are no longer convincing Freelancers who don't care or the reds and blues who know no different. No, we are convincing someone who is smart, illusive, and watching us all closely. So, Tau and I had fun analyzing sim trooper actions for different ways for me to appear more... abnormal. I kick my feet out more as I walk and have fun staring up at the sky as I walk forward like I have no a care in the world. I spend time acting like I truly am getting worn out by training. I also act like I truly have quite a strange amount of luck in shooting a sniper rifle and speak more with my shoulder and my head now that I am faking being mute once more. I have also gotten better at simple actions that state my thoughts like shrugging my shoulders, tilting my head, or throwing my hands up in exasperation, including my original pose of a hand on my hip as I glare whomever irritated me down.

I glanced at the distant form of Caboose and nearly sighed. Caboose had taken up a daily depressing walk after Wash's words and he really did sound depressed. He no longer seems to consider me his close friend, I have noticed the change. I wondered if it was because I was no longer as stupid as I seemed, or maybe I have changed, I cannot tell. I still play board games with him and try to get him to talk but he seems unwilling to speak. I wish I could help him out but Caboose is Caboose, trying to keep track of him half the time is just a full time job.

I looked back at Wash and Tucker, pretending to be snoozing in the afternoon sun as I watched without moving my helmet.

'Your acting has really improved, it is unlikely for anyone to connect you to Project Freelancer at this rate.' Tau thought.

Tau had been working real hard to keep an eye on the remaining sensors and look for anything more on these pirates but, without an internet connection, we really don't have much to go off of. So Tau did his best to analyze everywhere this unknown enemy has been up on the cliff tops. So far, it hasn't looked good. Tau had been working overtime to plan out our illusive watcher's areas according to the remaining sensors and what we know and it is likely that, even now, our enemy is watching us. I decided to keep this information from everyone unless it becomes deadly.
