Skylar snuck back into the bunker, only to find her parents waiting there. She smiled nonchalantly.
"Hiya!"
"It's 2:15. Where the hell have you been?" Dean asked.
"Oh, really? I... didn't realize how late it was. I am thoroughly sorry, let me go ground myself."
"Don't play coy. You snuck out with Josh, didn't you?" Cas accused.
"Why must you assume that everything I do is with Josh? Josh this, Josh that! It was him and a group of friends. We weren't alone."
"You are so not helping your case right now." Dean frowned.
"What is your glitch with Josh? He's a good guy!"
"Yes, a good guy with a vehicle." Cas sneered.
"At least it's a Chevy." She shrugged, hoping that would win them over. It didn't work.
"As true as that may be, you still shouldn't be going out with him at two in the fucking morning." Dean growled.
"You know what, I didn't sign up for this. Living with boss ass parents!"
"Watch your mouth!"
"Yeah, 'cause you do such a good job with that."
"Keep up the sass, and you'll be grounded for a lot longer than you already are."
Skylar groaned. "I'm sorry about going out, okay? I am being honest when I say I didn't mean to stay out so late! I was gonna be back by 12:30, but... Josh's car broke down." She mumbled the last part.
"Whatever happened to us being lie detectors? Did that slip your mind?" Cas asked.
"It doesn't matter what happened, I'm back, okay?" She lost her sarcastic, sassy tone.
Dean stared her down. "What happened, Sky?"
Sky scoffed. "Is this my father asking or the warden?" She regained her sarcasm.
"Sky, I know when something's wrong. You cover everything up with an attitude. Did something happen?"
She looked down at the ground, another tell which meant something did happen. "It's nothing."
"Did he hurt you?" Cas asked, a concerned tone in his voice.
"No. Things just... got a bit rough. He... tried to... well, I told him no. An I thought he understood. Then he tried again. And he wouldn't stop."
"Did he-"
"No," She interrupted Dean. "Punched him in the nads before he could."
"That's my girl." Dean smirked. Sky returned the smile.
"So, I guess he isn't such a good guy. I'm sorry, I should've listened."
"Don't worry about it. I guess we can be rather strict, but we are only trying to keep you safe." Cas spoke softly.
Sky looked up at them hopefully. "Does this mean I'm not grounded anymore?"
Dean chuckled sarcastically. "No, you're grounded for life until further notice."
Sky laughed. "Can I still practice driving the Impala?"
"You can practice driving, but you'll have to use Cas's pimpmobile."
Cas sighed. "It is not a 'pimpmobile'. I'm not even sure what that is supposed to mean."
Dean smiled and kissed him. Sky gagged.
"Get a room!" She yelled before going to her room.
"Ah, teens these days." Dean mused.
"I love you, Dean." Cas smiled.
"I love you too, Cassie."
