"Dean, I believe we should watch a movie." Cas spoke up at a random point one night.

He was sitting in the library across from Dean, who was doing research since their nerdy moose was unavailable.

"What?" Dean looked up at him.

"I believe we should watch a movie." He reiterated.

"Yeah, I heard you, but why?"

"I thought it seemed like a good idea, but if you don't want to--"

"No, it's fine. We can watch a movie. What movie?"

"There's a movie that recently came out called Ouija. It's about ghosts and hauntings and things, it could be like research."

Dean chuckled. "Cas, it's just a movie. The stuff people make in the movies are hardly ever real. Like vampires, for instance. Most of the myths about vampires, like you kill them with a wooden stake to the heart, or their weakness is garlic, that stuff isn't real. I doubt this movie will be any different."

"Can we go see it?"

"Yeah, I guess."

Dean drove them to the theatre to see Ouija. Since it had been out for a while, the theatre wasn't all that crowded. They got a large bucket of popcorn and two medium sized cokes.

It wasn't even five minutes in before Cas jumped, some popcorn spilling out of the bucket. Dean chuckled quietly.

"Cas, you know this is just a preview for Woman In Black Two, right?"

Cas looked up at him and whispered, "The noises are scary, Dean."

Cas jumped in fright about three times during the movie, and one time he actually wrapped his arms around Dean because he got so scared. Dean didn't mind, it was adorable.

Cas was covered in popcorn by the end of the movie. There was more popcorn in his lap then there was in the bucket. They returned to the Impala, the smell of the theatre clinging to their clothes.

"Did ya like it?" Dean asked.

Cas shrugged. "It was okay. Not as scary as implied. It didn't frighten me that much."

Dean laughed. "Yeah. Okay. Whatever."

Cas tilted his head to the side. "I don't understand, what do you find so humorous?"

"Nothing, nothing. I had a good time, we should do this again." He looked over at Cas, who was staring at him intently.

"Yes. I, too, had a good time. I would... enjoy spending t-time with you like this... again."

His voice began to falter near the end for some reason. They stared into each other's eyes, leaning in closer to one another. They both paused, unsure of themselves, but they soon locked lips.

They caressed each other's face in their hands, continuing to kiss. Cas softly moaned every now and then.

They separated and looked at each other. They both blushed madly. They moved away from each other, sitting up straight. Dean started the Impala and drove to the bunker, the ride silent the whole way.

Dean walked into the library and saw Cas sitting there reading something. Probably doing research. He couldn't help but feel a bit awkward around him after... the previous night.

"Cas." Dean greeted abruptly.

Cas blushed and didn't even look up from his book. "Dean."

"Should we, uh, talk about last night?"

"What is there to talk about? We kissed. So what?"

"'So what'? So everything! Friends don't kiss like that!"

"Then we aren't friends anymore."

Dean paled at his words. "What?"

Cas finally looked up at him. "We are more than friends."

"Cas, I don't think I'm ready to be 'more than friends'. This is all going a bit fast."

"Dean, we've had five years to admit our feelings to one another. If that's a bit fast, I can't imagine how quickly it would be considered if we had come out in that barn to begin with."

And Dean honestly had no words for that. It was just too much to handle. But he soon got his voice back.

"And I regret not doing so. You're right, Cas. I have loved you since the beginning. Even now I'm too scared to say these words, but, I love you, Cas."

Cas smiled. He honest-to-god actually smiled, which was a rare moment. "I love you, too, Dean."

They embraced each other in a warm kiss. It lasted for a while, until they heard Sam yell, "FINALLY!"
