Chapter 18- Take A Polaroid

"Dude you can't be serious right now?" Andre complained.

The house was empty from teenagers. All except for us. And Kylo didn't leave without one more glass of drink poured onto him for making a stupid deal that wasn't needed. And of course, it was me who poured the drink. Whoops.

"You haven't surfed for over a year!" Elliot exclaimed.

Adrian took a seat on the counter, lacing his fingers through his hair. And I couldn't stop but to think how hot he looked just by doing that.

SNAP OUT OF IT!

"Wait, you surf?" I asked him, making everyone's head turn towards me.

Adrian gave me a blunt look. "Yeah, did you not just listen to any of the conversation, or even the past fifteen minutes?"

All of a sudden I started to wheeze hysterically. "I never ... thought of you to be the ... surfer type." I wiped tears streaming down my eyes.

Although I was sure he'd have the perfect body for it. I could almost imagine him running across the sand in slow motion like baywatch. And how his muscly chest would have a golden tan from the sun.

What am I thinking? Why am I saying all this? He's a brat.

Elliot joined in with me, laughing and clutching onto the counter. "Oh my gosh he's a surfer." He bursted out laughing, and I grabbed onto his shoulders to prevent myself from falling. "This is hilarious."

The rest batted their eyelids at us blankly. "Elliot you know he's always been a surfer," Vivian stated.

He stopped laughing, immediately straightening his back. "Yeah I know, I just wanted to join in." He sent a slanted grin.

"Why are you even going? I mean it's basically winter." Andre tried to reason with Adrian.

"That's even better, the waves are much more prominent around winter, plus it should be sunny tomorrow morning." Adrian took a sip from his red plastic cup.

"You don't have to do this, we all know you're trying to do this because Kylo will stay away from us too." Vivian tried to convince him. "I mean how bad can it be, hanging out with Kylo." But I knew she didn't even want to think about it.

"Who said I'm doing this for you?" He slamed her in the face. "I'm only doing this because I can't be assed with Kylo following everywhere I go."

"Jerk." She grunted.

"Ass," I agreed with her.

Even though he claimed he was doing it to save himself, I could tell by the look in his eyes he was doing it for us. He just tried to hide it with that hard deminor.

"Don't worry Veenilla, I would surf to save you." Elliot wrapped an arm around her shoulder, causing her to grin timidly.

"Dude, you don't even know how to swim!" Andre retorted with knitted brows.

"Yeah and what would you do about me, Idiot?" I asked him wearily.

He waved a hand at me. "You'll be fine with Kylo, trust me it'd be like a summer vacation."
