*Hey all!
The next part is up! There is a slight trigger warning for the last couple of paragraphs so please be careful. I would say what it is but it kind of gives away the ending.
Stay safe 💕*
*ROGER'S POV*
After visiting Brian, John agreed that we needed to take him to the hospital or to a doctor to get him checked out. He said he could hardly recognize him as they were talking and it worried him that maybe something much more than just a hangover was happening with him.
"Do you want us to come with you lovey?" Freddie asked after helping me support Bri long enough to get in him the car.
"We don't mind if you'd like the support." John added, his hand resting on my shoulder gently as I looked back to him.
"No, no, it's okay." I shook my head. "You guys have just come home and you should be resting Deaks." I said seriously. "I'll grab someone at the hospital to help me get him out of the car so I'll be fine." I nodded, not wanting them to give up their time for us. John's been through enough in the last 24 hours and he should be lying down or something, not stressing about Brian.
"Are you sure?" The bassist asked again. "We really don't mind."
"I'm sure, but thank you." I smiled softly as he nodded back, giving my shoulder a quick squeeze. "I should go, he's looking worse by the minute." I sighed, my own stomach doing flips as I watched Brian collapse against the door, looking extra pale and exhausted.
"Make sure you let us know how he is." Freddie said seriously, me nodding back, thanking them again before climbing into the car myself.
"How you feeling love?" I asked quietly, my eyes racking over Brian's frame as he curled himself up on the seat. I'd never seen him look so small before, or in so much pain. I could feel my heart crack watching him without being able to do anything to help.
"Mmm." He mumbled, not giving me an answer as I sighed, deciding to just get a move on and not add to the misery he was in already. I quickly buckled up, ensuring Bri was too before starting the trip to the hospital. My stress levels only seemed to rise the longer I drove, Brian not making a peep as he kept himself slumped against the window. I didn't know what could actually be wrong with him outside of just drinking too much. He had been fine yesterday before the party and now suddenly he was like this! Maybe he ate something funky? Maybe he was drugged?! My mind continued to wander as I sped a tiny bit above the speed limit to get us to help quicker, not wanting Bri to only deteriorate more the longer we waited to be seen.
"Are you awake Bri?" I asked, my hand sitting on his thigh as I focused mainly on the road (and somewhat on him). I got nothing in response, causing my heart to jump in my chest as I panicked a little. I didn't want him to fall asleep, not knowing if he would sleep and not wake up. "Love, can you talk to me?" I asked again, squeezing his leg to try and get him to say something. "Brian?!" I snapped, feeling desperate as I once again got nothing from him. "Bri? B-Bri you, you need to stay a-awake." I said shakily, my eyes flicking over to him once again. "D-Don't fall asleep b-baby, please!" I pleaded, just needing him to respond with something!
"Stop shouting." Came a muffled voice from the opposite side of the car, the sound enough to send a bolt of relief through my entire body.
"If shouting makes you reply then I'm going to bloody shout." I sighed, letting out a relieved chuckle as I squeezed his leg again. "You need to stay awake for me Bri. We're almost there, okay?" I said softly, him nodding a bit in return as I took my hand back to the steering wheel.
It took another five minutes for me to get us to the hospital, finding the closest park before throwing the car into it.
"I'm just going to get someone to help and I'll be back." I explained as I ripped my seatbelt off. "We'll get you better in no time love." I sighed once again, Brian still keeping his eyes close as he hummed at me to show he was listening. I quickly jumped out of the car, taking off to find anybody that could help me load Brian into a wheelchair or something to get him inside. I was somewhat strong but he was too tall and lanky for me to support by myself. "Hi uh, excuse me?" I said shakily again, finding a broad and hefty looking security guard hanging around the front of the emergency entrance to the hospital. "Could you, could you please help me with my friend?" I asked, my whole body now shaking as I felt myself finally let the situation sink in.
