*3RD PERSON POV*
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE'S PARALYZED?!" Roger shrieked, earning the attention of everybody in the corridor he, Freddie and John were standing in as the pair explained their conversation with Dr Burns to the blonde. "HE CAN'T BE PARALYSED!"

"Roger, quiet down!" Freddie hissed, trying to avoid the stares they were now receiving from patients and nurses alike.

"QUIET DOWN?! MY BEST FRIEND IS FUCKING PARALYSED AND YOU WANT ME TO QUIET DOWN?!" The drummer only screamed louder, causing John to facepalm from embarrassment as the older of the group sent a glare towards Roger.

"Just shut up!" He snapped. "Do you have a level that isn't screeching?!" Freddie groaned, rubbing his face tiredly as Roger scoffed at him.

"FUCK YOU FREDDIE!" He snapped back, anger boiling inside him as John stepped in between the pair.

"We already have one of us in here and we don't need another so both of you shut up and calm the fuck down." He snapped himself, his voice quiet but harsh as he flicked his gaze between them both. "We've only been told what we've explained to you Roger. We don't know if Brian is paralysed but there's a possibility that he could be." He explained as Roger finally settled down a bit, still keeping his snark with the frontman as he fell back into the seat he'd started out in earlier that morning.

"This is all my fault." He sighed, feeling a lump back in his throat as his eyes brimmed with tears.

"It's not your fault Rog." Freddie sighed too, taking the seat beside him to rub his back gently. "You didn't do anything."

"I distracted him!" Roger exclaimed as John sat on his right, placing his hand on his knee for some comfort. "If I, if I wasn't such an idiot and told him how I f-felt last week then t-this would never have h-happened!" He cried, hiding in his hands as his shoulders shook with sobs. The poor lad couldn't help but think that all of this was because of him. If he didn't push away his feelings like he had then he wouldn't have been there grovelling to Brian. He wouldn't have distracted him as they walked down the stairs. He wouldn't have had to watch his best friend fall and smack himself on the cold concrete floor. He wouldn't be sitting there now afraid for Brian's future, for his baby's future.

"You can't blame yourself." John soothed, knowing how badly he must be hurting. Roger had twice the amount of worry flowing through him as it wasn't just Brian he had to think about. They knew the baby was okay, at least for now, but there could always be something lurking around the corner that could come and take them away too. The blonde couldn't even stomach the idea of something happening to his little one. He'd not even had the opportunity to see them himself yet! He was so angry with himself that he'd pushed away the idea of being a father for so long when he now could lose the chance at any moment. He was scared of losing the family he was going to gain.

"Bri will push through this Rog." Freddie said seriously. "You know he can be bloody stubborn so you know he'll fight his hardest." He nodded as Roger wiped the tears that had fallen onto his cheeks. He wanted to believe that. He wanted to believe that Brian will be up and walking in no time, but he knew he wouldn't be. It will take months and months for him to be able to move, let alone walk (if he is paralysed like they think)!

"He, he has to make it through t-this." Roger whispered, shaking his head as he fought off more tears. He couldn't imagine losing Brian. They'd been side by side since they were practically kids, barely spending a day apart the whole time they'd known each other! He couldn't just lose him. He couldn't just suddenly be gone. The three soon resorted to sitting in silence, all of them still with churning stomachs as they waited on more news from the doctors. It had been almost 6 hours now and barely anybody had left the room Brian laid locked behind. John was starting to wonder if they were just leaving him for dead at this rate, with the amount of doctors in the room seeming to be so little. It was only 10 minutes later that the door finally opened once again, one man exiting quickly before rushing off down the hall. The door itself was left slightly ajar, creating the perfect opportunity for Roger to sneak in (the drummer thought to himself). "Brian!" He shouted, standing on his feet before Freddie or John could even think. "Brian?!" He called again, already halfway through the door.
