*3RD PERSON POV*
"So Brian, how have you been feeling lately?" Dr Burns, or Penny as she'd told Brian to call her, quizzed, smiling softly at the man as he sat opposite her beside his friends. They'd quickly got through their introductions, the woman explaining what she did and how she could help guide the guitarist through the rest of his (sure to be difficult) pregnancy, before then turning the focus to him and what things he'd been feeling since leaving Dr Young several weeks ago.

"Oh uh, okay I guess." He shrugged, not really knowing how much detail he was meant to go into as he fiddled with his hands. He's not been feeling bad or anything since his last check up, but he wasn't feeling 100% either. He was still sick a few times a week, and had already started feeling tired and drained too.

"Just okay?" She asked, frowning a little as he Brian shifted to sit up further in his seat, nodding to answer her question.

"I've still been a little nauseous, and a bit tired, but other than that I'm okay." He explained, earning a nod from her too as she scribbled on some paper.

"Do we get to see the baby today?" Freddie spoke up, interrupting the conversation quickly to ask his (rather important to him anyway) question.

"Fred." John said quietly, sending Freddie a look that scolded him for butting in.

"I was just curious." He shrugged himself, pouting as he looked down instead of at the doctor, feeling embarrassed that he bothered asking.

"After I ask Brian a few questions, then we'll all get a nice look at the baby." Penny smiled, catching Freddie's attention as he looked back up quickly, a small grin now filling his face as he nodded. "I have some personal questions for you Brian," She added, now earning the taller's attention too as he raised an eyebrow. "would you rather me ask you them alone?" She questioned, her eyes flicking between the three in front of her, almost suggesting that Freddie and John leave the room.

"O-Oh?" Brian's eyes widened, a little taken aback by her suggestion. He wasn't sure what kind of questions she'd be asking him that Freddie and John shouldn't be there for. They already knew that he and Roger had been together and besides his cuts, Brian couldn't think of anything else he didn't want them to know about.

"We'll go." John answered for him, pulling himself and Freddie (since their hands were still intertwined) out of their chairs together.

"You guys don't have to." Brian spoke up, shaking his head. He didn't want them to feel like they were being pushed out. They were nice enough to give up their time to support him, he didn't want them banished to the waiting room.

"It's alright. We'll come back in after." John smiled quickly, Freddie throwing on a small grin too before they both left, the bassist leading the older man out before he closed the door behind him, sealing Brian in alone. The curly haired man gulped, suddenly feeling as though he was about to be interrogated as he crossed his legs, one of his hands absentmindedly resting protectively on his belly. He'd found himself doing that a lot recently now that he was showing a bit more. The bump was still relatively small, hiding perfectly under his hand, but he'd enjoyed taking the time to interact with his body and baby, still a little amazed that this was all happening to him.

"Relax a little Brian, it's just a couple of questions." Penny laughed lightly, closing her notebook as she sent him a smile, trying to calm his nerves. The gesture didn't help at all however, Brian's stomach still doing flips as he took a few deep breaths, hoping that it would somehow settle him.
