Fate's Dimension [Original] Ch.2: Civilization at Last

What just happened? Dorian just did some transformation that looks like it's taken directly from a Nintendo game. "WTF" I can only muster a few words the light was blinding, I couldn't even see in front of me.

Dorian raised his gun to the Hraesvelgr. "You're a trilogy too late. If you're looking for your god.

He's right here. And he's fresh out of mercy!" Dorian uppercuts the Hraesvelgr and jabs his gun into its wing, blasting a hole through it. Rings of electricity appeared around his fingertips, he threw them at the Hraesvelgr, wrapping around its body making it unable to move.

Dorian flew back and Raised his hand to the sky. Electricity sparked up his arm and glowed brightly in his palm. The Hraesvelgr broke free of the rings and lunged at Dorian, grabbing his arm with its talons. The Hraesvelgr let out a screech as it snapped his arm. Dorian unloaded an entire magazine into the Hraesvelgr's chest, finally letting him go. His arm went limp against his side.

Blood dripped off his fingertips, bone could be seen from where the Hraesvelgr snapped it.

"You think you've won" He looked at the Hraesvelgr and grinned.

"Cause I've been through worse than this!" His arm snapped back into place, the bone reshaped. He raised his hand towards the sky again. Electricity formed around his hand, launching into the sky.

Dark clouds rolled in, Thunder crackled above. Dorian dropped his hand in a point.

"Smite"

A large bolt of lightning shot down and struck the Hraesvelgr, disintegrating on impact.

I can only look with mixed thoughts of ow, WTF JUST HAPPENED, am i next?, or HOLY $#!%, THIS LIGHT IS BRIGHT! IM BLIND! I just look at Dorian with a thousand questions ready to be shot at him. "What. The. Hell. Just. Happened?"

Dorian reverts back to normal and turns to me. "So, Hraesvelgrs. Gotta love 'em"

I just look at him in confusion. "No. wtf did you actually just do?"

Dorian motions for me to follow. "All will be explained in due time. Now come on, Planeptune is just a little ways ahead."

We finally arrive in Planeptune, not exactly what I expected.

Everything is a bright shade of purple. Clear glass tubes lead across the land.

"Why does it feel like those were only used for a few weeks, then were forgotten about?"

Dorian laughs and flashes me a thumbs up. "That's exactly what I said the first time I got here."

Alrighty then "Well thanks for getting me out of that forest."

We come across a giant tower. I guess i'm still following him 'Shut it it's plot' can it author. The tower detail is not explained due to the Authors' not wanting to go into detail. "This is the NepTower, strange name for it, but you'll find things here with even weirder names" He leads me inside the tower, past two guards that seem to be slacking.

"Planeptune never changes, It seems like Neptune has had an influence on everyone, slacking off as usual." This place suites my style of laziness. we arrive at the basilicom, and from the reactions we got from the others, seems like we weren't expected. "I need to speak with Histoire. Don't ask, it's confidential."

A girl walks up to us, she's wearing a blue trench coat, and has brown hair with a green ribbon in it.

"Is Histoire expecting you? I've never seen you around here before."

Dorian shakes his head. "No, we've both come from afar. We need Histoire's help with something"

The girl looks at us with suspicion. "Who are you..?"

"My name is Dorian Moon"

Dorian nudges my side. "..Raidea"

The girl introduces herself as well. "I'm IF, i'm the windwalker of Gamindustri."
We both say in unison. "Windwalker..."

I know what a windwalker is(it's a guardian..well atleast where I come from) i've decided not to ask a lot of things until i can gather more info about the place.

"Anyways, I'll lead you to Histoire. Come."

IF motions for us to follow. We pass by two girls sitting on a couch playing some sort of racing game.

Dorian leans over and whispers into my ear.

"If you value your life, you would agree with what Neptune likes in NepKart"

I hold back a laugh, I whisper back to Dorian. "I think i'll be fine. I hate racing games."

IF leads us into a dark room, cybernetic waves are circling around for some reason.

In the center of the room is a power symbol?, and sitting on a book, at around 117cm tall.

"Histoire, it seems you haven't changed a bit"

Histoire looks at us. She looks like a fairy. That's all to be said.

"I do not believe I have met you before. Have we perhaps, met before."

We go through the usual introductions, and finally get to business.

"I need you to contact my Histoire, and tell her what's going on."

Confused Histoire is confused.

Bright light enters the room as someone opens the door.

Dorian covers his eyes and lets out a yelp.

"Gah! Natural Light!"

A few girls walk into the room. The first is wearing a white hoodie with a purple skirt. She has light purple hair with a spiky lift. The other is wearing a schoolgirl outfit and has long light purple hair.

IF was with them. Histoire looks over to them. "Good, it seems like you're all here"

The first girl walks over. "So Histy, is there a reason you called us? Are we under attack, am I gonna need to stomp them with my legs that resemble a kangaroo?" l:l what? Histoire shakes her head.

"No Neptune, this is about the monster problem the citizens have been having"

The now identified, Neptune, looks down to us. "Who are you?"

(One long introduction scene later)

"Ok, I think introductions are all done"

Neptune continues to stare at us. "That doesn't explain why you're here"

Dorian inhales, for about 30 seconds.

"Well, blah blah blah, blah blah, blah de blah, blah blah"

Neptune stares at us in amazement. "Wowee, you're both from different dimensions, met up in the forest, fought a Hraesvelgr, and now you're here!" I have absolutely no clue what's going on.

"Can someone explain what is happening, i'm lost."

Dorian looks back to Histoire. "Well, can you do it."

Histoire nods. "Of course, but it will take three days to establish a connection to the other dimension. In the meantime, we'll prepare rooms for you."

IF motions for us to follow and we head out of the room.

(That night)

I fall back onto the bed. "Well, it's better than a tree." I start using my phone, I try to text my brother and friends. No service well they are in another universe i see why it's not working, I eventually give up and start playing a game. "Flippin flappy bird" I shut off my phone due to the fact i have no charger."Gamindustri... heh"

"Yeah its nice but I need to get back home."
