Fate's Dimension [Original] Ch.15: Decoding The Firewall

We draw our weapons, the mechs approaching.

Dorian pulls out his dagger, which turns his eye colour to red. He points his dagger at the center mech. "Override." The mech suddenly goes limp, before blasting the mech beside it with a flamethrower. Two more mechs aim their flamethrowers at each other, resulting in a mass explosion. "Now that their armor has been weakened." Dorian raises his dagger in the air. "Cyclone." Wind picks up around us, blades swirl in the wind, catching on fire, due to the flames scattered around. In a quick movement, the wind disperses, and the mechs crumble to ash. Dorian sheaths his dagger, and his eyes turn back to normal. "Ashes to Ashes, dust to dust. Everything has come to inspire, but hey, look, a forest fire!" A tree falls to the ground, followed by another. "Hey, here's a question... If a tree fell in the forest, but no one was around to hear it... Did it actually make a sound..?" Uum, I forget. "I can ask Abo when I get back to my universe, then i'll get back to you." Dorian sighs. "You ruined it... Abo?" Oh yeah.. He doesn't know her, "The nature core." Dorian nods. "Ah, yes..." While we're standing here having our nice conversation, the forest fire is spreading... joy. "We should probably get going..." We take off running through the forest.

We dodge trees as they fall around us. I look over to Dorian. "Does this happen often with you?" Dorian shakes his head. "Nah, this is a first..." I duck as a tree falls above me. "You're lying..." Dorian flips over a tree trunk. "How can you tell...?" Saka blasts the flames in front of us with water. "Well, if the forest fire wasn't evidence enough, that you're shooting fire out of your ass." We reach a clearing on the mountain side, near Leanbox. Dorian pulls out his HyperVolt and switches it out with the ZeroMagazine. "We're gonna have to jump." We reach the edge of the cliff and leap off the edge, as Dorian blasts the mountain side with the ZeroVolt, propelling us through the sky. Dorian unhooks the ZeroMagazine. "Well, the easy part is out of the way..." I look over at him with dread. "That was the easy part.......?" Dorian rips into his chest, activating ADV. Blood explodes out of his back, as massive demon wings rip out from his shoulder blades. The silver rings around his wrists, fly over to us, levitating and allowing us to land safely on the ground. Although, upon landing, Dorian drops out of ADV, his wings vaporize, the Rings deactivate, and we land, not so comfortably... Dorian stands up and blood shoots out of his back, painting a tree behind us. I quickly scramble to my feet, as a sharp pain shoots through my head. Everything around me starts to pixelate. Dorian drops to the ground, A sharp arrow like object in his head. My legs give way, and I collapse onto the ground. I hear a loud scream, as Saka drops to the ground. Everything pixelates, from the green of the grass, to the blindness of the dark.

Everything re-pixelates, and we're now in a grey room. Almost like a jail cell. But, no doors, no windows, nothing but walls. "H-Hey, is everyone okay...?" Dorian groans as he holds his head. "I suddenly got a horrible headache..." Saka still seems to be asleep. "I guess she's out of commission for a bit... Where are we?" Dorian looks around the room. "I remember this place." Dorian walks over to the wall and starts feeling around. "Wait, you know this place?" Dorian nods. "Yes, this isn't the first time that I've been stuck in one of his games... Ah, found it!" Dorian jabs his elbow into a part of the wall, which crumbles on impact. He reaches in and pulls out a key. "Now, for the lock" He puts the key in a small box on the table. The area pixelates, and now we're on the grass. Dorian stares up at the sky. "Since I've played his game before, he probably changed up the levels... Welcome to Level 2, everybody..." Saka seems to have woken up due to being dropped onto the ground. "Oof, my head, why am I here?" I look up at Saka then point to Dorian, "He most likely has the answer." I turn to Dorian, "Since you knew what to do with the first level, surely you must know where we are." Dorian drops to the ground, as a grey orb leaves his body. "Level 2, Aura Trace... When I played his game, this was the seventh level." Oh boy, more characters. "Who is 'he'?" The grey orb circles around Dorian's body. "The master hacker, the person capable of trapping people inside Virtual Reality games... Anonydeath." A bunch o' garbage eh? I'm not surprised, though this isn't the first time this has happened to me, ahhh.... It was horrible to be honest, Gilden does not know how to make games, despite him being a robot. "Oh boy, so lead the way players guide." The grey orb circles around us. "You need to let your aura leave your physical body, and then we can move on to the next level." Okie dokie, I throw my core across the map, "Done", Saka does the same. We both collapse to the ground. A red orb leaves my body, and a blue orb leaves Saka's. "Follow me, and we'll find the Holy BLOBFISH!!!" We spend the next hour looking for a key. The grey orb returns to Dorian's body, which immediately pixelates and disappears. We go back to our bodies and we transfer to the next level. Which is us trapped in a box... Dorian seems to be in a separate box than us. Saka and I are in the same box. We see a chess table, we spend the next 5 hours in a very INTENSE game of chess, finally I set her up "Checkmate" Saka is BEYOND PISSED, "MOTHER F******, GOD CHRIST ALMIGHTY." I feel awesome, "Take that sucka." we both transport to the next level, when we get there, Dorian just looks at us, "Single player Chess is impossible, because it ends up being an endless game..." Waaait whaaaa-, "Then why not make yourself lose a turn then?" Dorian freezes suddenly. "Damn you hindsight!!! Hm? What's up with Blue Blanc over there...?" Saka jerks her head up at him. "SHUT UP, IT'S FINE, I'M FINE, THE UNIVERSE IS GOD DAMN HAP, HAP, DIDDLY, DANDY, I DON'T HAVE A PROBLEM, YOU HAVE A PROBLEM, I CAN'T TAKE THIS ANYMORE." Saka went and jumped off the cliff to the left of us... 5 seconds later she fell from the sky next to us. "DAMN YOU RESPAWN ZONE. DAAAAAAAAAMN YOOOOOOOU!!!!!!!!!" Dorian looks over the cliff's edge. "Now that's what I'd call 'Ledge Hopping'" The fourth level seems to be on a mountain. I turn to our trusty player guide. "So, how does this one work?" Dorian looks around. "I'm not sure. This is a new one..." He points to the peak of the mountain. "I'd say, we need to climb to the top of the mountain. That's where the fifth level will be." We start to climb the mountain. Dorian defies the laws of gravity, when he jumps into the air and makes it to the top of the mountain, in one thrust. "I can do that too." I start to walk straight up the mountain, getting up there in a matter of seconds. Saka does what any normal person would do... And took the stairs that were located, directly beside where we had went. The sky gets dark, thunder crackles. A small knife appears in our hands. Dorian grips the handle of the knife. "He usually puts a mini-boss halfway through the game. The last time, he had used DNA that he gathered over years... It'll probably be the same this time, as well..." I notice up in the sky, something was approaching. A flash of green, lights the sky. Floating above the mountain, was a Purple suit made of crystal. It looked a lot like the Platinum suit. It had Green cybernetic lines across the armor. The mask had a silver visor, and a heartline across it. Dorian stared at the suit. "That's me... That was my first weapon. The Cyber Suit." The suit aimed at Dorian, and launched off a laser of plasma. Dorian leaped out of the way, the laser blowing apart the rocks in its path. I try to charge at it, 'try' I miss and fall off the cliff, but get teleported back up. Saka tried to...and yeah same outcome, man, me and Saka practically have the same ideas don't we? The Cyber suit launches off multiple discs of plasma, which explode into smaller discs. Dorian leaps on top of one of the discs, absorbing the plasma into his feet. He leaps off the disc and stabs Cyber in the back. Dorian drags the knife down the Cyber suit's back, Causing blood to shoot out of the suit. The blood hits the ground and shatters. Saka and I, use this opportunity to hit it, we both end up stabbing it in the head. "Oh boy, this is gonna end well." The Cyber suit threw us off of it. The suit pulls out a small black object. Dorian throws his knife at the suit, stabbing it in the arm. The suit drops the object, which Dorian grabs before it hits the ground. "Huh?" The object, incased in black crystal, disintegrated, as the Cyber Suit pulled out another and inserted it into its arm. The crystal turned from Purple to Black, Red highlights lined the armor. A blade extended from the suit's hand. Plasma formed around the suit's waist. Launching off as a Cyber Shockwave. Dorian leaps into the air, I dash upwards, Saka simply jumps when it came to her. "Welp, we're screwed... nice knowing ya'll." Dorian leaps at the Cyber Suit and clashes with its Cyber Blade. Sparks flew from the two clashing blades. Dorian reached back into his coat and pulled out another knife, slashing off the Cyber Suit's right arm. The Cyber Blade deactivates, and the arm falls to the ground and shatters. Dorian coughs up blood and a beam of light shoots out his back. Dorian falls to the ground and the Cyber Suit flicks his left wrist, flinging the blood off its sword. Blood shoots out of the Cyber Suit's right arm, which solidifies into a Crimson Blood arm. The Cyber Suit's visor turned to Red, and Cyber Discs and Cyber Balls appeared around it. I stare up at the suit. "We can't... Beat this thing..."
