Maaga kaming aalis ngayon ni Ayesha papunta sa Antipolo. I can't stop my self from smiling knowing that she let me go with her. She's Ayesha—she wants to find out everything on her own. But she let me follow her around. And I think that's special.
Napunta ang atensiyon ko sa cellphone ko nang biglang tumawag si Knight. It's 8am in the morning and he is already awake???
That's new.
"What?" Hindi ko pa nasasabi sa kaniya ang sinabi na Ayesha na may kinalaman ang Adisson sa mga nangyayari.
Alam ko naman na hindi magagawa nila Knight yun. I trust him. I know him because he is my bestfriend since high school.
And Meisha's family? I doubt it. Hindi sila mananakit ng ibang tao.
"May nakalimutan akong sabihin sayo." Seryosong sabi nito na ikinakunot ng noo ko. Kinuha ko na rin ang susi ng sasakyan ko at naglakad na palabas.
I told the chairman that I have to accompany Ayesha about something. Hindi naman siya nagtanong kung para saan. Pumayag din siya agad.
"What is it?"
"I found something." Napatigil ako sa akmang pagpunta sa room ni Ayesha at sumandal nalang muna sa railings.
"Spill it."
"Pumunta kasi ako sa office ni Uncle Archie and I saw Rakki's photo. I'm sure it's Rakki. Weird, right?"
"Yeah." Nakalimutan ko si Uncle Greg. But I don't want to blame him. Not until wala akong evidence, wala akong gagawin.
"And there's one more thing." Hindi nalang kasi diretsuhin ang sinasabi niya para hindi ako naghihintay.
Knight can be irritating at times because he's so noisy and always playing with words, but I trust him, and sometimes I've grown used to it.
"Last time, I visited Uncle Greg because of my mom, and he definitely knows a lot about Le Couronne d'Ombre. He said he was just curious. And you know me, bro—I don't usually doubt the people around me because I trust them, but this feels different. I can sense that something's off about him." That is weird. I know Le Couronne d'Ombre but I don't have the guts to know any information about them.
They have a rule. If they find out you've been looking for information about them, they'll start looking for you too.
"Can you help me?"
"Wait, what? You? Asking for help???"
"Tss. I'm serious."
"Nagbabago pala talaga ang isang tao kapag may girlfriend." Natatawang sabi niya na ikinabuntong hininga ko.
Sa ganito kami usually na nagtatagal. Ang dami niya kasing sinasabi na hindi naman na kailangan sabihin pa.
"Just help me find any information about that. As much as possible, keep going there and try to uncover something. Is that okay?"
"Yes. I'm interested too. I want to know the real reason behind those boxes."
"Okay."
"Where are you? Let's grab breakfast together. I just got out of the bar."
"I can't. I'm accompanying Ayesha somewhere."
