Ayesha Rakki's POV
I need to make a plan. And I can't do it alone. I need someone.
"Ms. Rakki."
"Faudia, where are you now?"
"I'm already at the airport, Ms. Rakki."
"Good. Make sure no one finds out you're here. This stays strictly between the two of us. What did you tell the people at Le Couronne d'Ombre?" I asked Faudia yesterday to book a flight asap.
"I told them I have to leave for a few days because of a business matter. Don't worry—I made sure nobody knows where I am. I even had the IT team conceal my travel information."
"Good. That's exactly what I wanted to hear. What about your hotel arrangements?"
"I'm staying in the room next to Tristan's and Mr. Sean's, just as you instructed."
"Perfect. I'll send you the address shortly. Meet me there as soon as you arrive."
"Understood. I'll head there right away."
If there's one person I can ask for help here aside from Uncle and Tristan, it would be Faudia. Out of everyone in this place, she's one of the few people I genuinely trust. She has never given me a reason to doubt her loyalty or question her intentions.
In a world where almost everyone seems to have their own agenda, Faudia has always been straightforward with me.
She's been there during some of the most difficult moments of my life. She never judged me when I was at my lowest, and she never abandoned me when things became complicated.
That's why, aside from Uncle and Tristan, Faudia is the only person I can confidently rely on. In the middle of all uncertainty, lies, and betrayal surrounding me, she's one of the few constants I have left. And right now, having someone like her on my side might be exactly what I need.
Actually, Faudia is a model.
But still, right hand ko siya?? Doesn't make sense pero bahala siya.
"You look good. So, are you enjoying Paris without me?"
"Enjoying? Not exactly. I've been more stressed than anything because of everything that's been happening with the group. You're the one who looks good. How about you? Are you happy?"
"Do I look happy to you?"
Natawa siya lalo. "Fair point. After all those messages you've been sending me, I figured things weren't going well. Honestly, I'm curious to see these people you've been talking about."
