Hellooooo! I've a five page essay due tomorrow and I haven't slept in 36 hours cuz I was drawing a Shindeku comic for insta!!! I also haven't had any coffee and the bird in my room says I'm hallucinating! He also likes Tolstoy apparently. Hope you guys make better life choices than me! Boop!———
The afternoon was...busy.
He, Aizawa and Eri had to pack up everything - naturally Eri was moving in to the dorms with them since she was still in danger from - as Aizawa had informed him - the Yakuza.
Though no one technically knew where she was, due to his efforts - he'd maintained illusions so anyone outside of his shopping group would see her as a green haired boy, he couldn't account for everything.Aizawa had met with Nezu to arrange Izuku's meeting with the principal, and to explain Eri.
Her room was to be in Aizawa's quarters, and since her trust had grown, there was some chance she might actually sleep there, though they'd placed Izuku's room on the second floor nearest the stairs for easy access.Arrangements had been made for her to have private tutoring at UA, most of the teachers being willing to volunteer some time to tutor her.
To Izuku's joy, the Wild, Wild Pussycats had agreed for Kouta to join her, and Midnight would be bringing Kirita until he caught up with his age group, so she could get to know some boys near her own age. The greenette was looking forward to seeing the kids again too. He'd bribed Aizawa with coffee to see the dorm plan, and been very confused that the teacher had put him on the second floor with Aoyama and Kouda, and Shinsou, Bakugou and Todoroki on the fifth floor with Kirishima. When his father had failed to provide valid reasons, other than 'it was randomly sorted', and 'I'm the teacher, don't question me', Izuku had gone to work.
After a lot of badgering, Izuku found Aizawa was willing to move Shinsou, so managed to negotiate the purpled-haired teen's move to the room neighbouring his. But Aizawa down right refused to move Todoroki or Bakugou for some reason Izuku couldn't fathom.
None of the Aizawas, Eri now included, hassled Toga.
They talked of the task at hand, bickered playfully with each other, and she helped them pack quietly.Eventually all the bags were packed though, and the words unsaid became too heavy.
Aizawa eyed Izuku who was cooking them dinner, then broke out the crayons and paper, leading Eri upstairs."Izuku..." Began Toga nervously.
"Izu." Corrected the greenette. He didn't look at her and for that, she was grateful."It...I don't want that obsession back." She hesitated, trying to find the right words, "But Izu, it's my quirk, it is a part of me... I don't want this... this emptiness."
He looked at her then, and the pain and conflict behind his mask that couldn't fool her was so strong. The faces of those she'd killed, haunted her, but none were quite that wretched somehow."I... Himiko... There's something I could do about that... about your quirk. If... if I were to do that... could I get a promise from you never to tell a soul? You were off grid and unknown so I think you could use the one I give you, but I'd be risking a lot..."
She stared at him. What he was saying... she'd need time to think through but even now she could guess what some of the potential consequences of him being able to do that were.
"I... I'm not sure what I'd be getting involved in."
He laughed at that, then looked at her warmly, "I don't know either... but I can do my best to keep you out of it?""...but I don't deserve it." She hadn't meant to say it. Well, that was a lie. She had. She wanted to hear his reassurance.
"No," came the unpleasant but truthful answer, "not by a traditional hero or legal standards you don't. You deserve a jail cell according to them. But... I think you know I'm not one of them."
Izuku tilted his head at her and smiled. "Besides I have an instinct quirk just screaming that I can trust you."
