Chapter 96: Gunpowder and Plot

"Aizawa Izuku to the Principal's Office. Aizawa Izuku to the Principal's Office."

The class turned to look at Izuku. The greenette smiled slightly, and got up, shouldering his bag and left them casually with a little wave.

Aizawa sighed. "You have self study. I'm heading out so behave yourselves."
He disappeared to check on Eri like the over protective father he secretly is, the confused class abandoned to their own devices.

Kirishima looked around curiously, "guys, anyone know what's going on?"
"Nope." Said Shinsou, sounding slightly annoyed by the fact.
"I'm worried..." murmured Uraraka, "he was fidgeting a lot...he does that when he's nervous."
"He'll be fine." Stated Hiniyuki curtly. Though few of the class had realised, Uraraka forcing Izuku to tell the entire group his secret had deeply stressed the teen and betrayed his trust. Though Izuku hid it well, Shoto and Hitoshi especially reserved the right to be snarky.

Bakugou affirmed, "the fucker'll be fine."
But what's going on? Signed Kouda.
"He met with the Principal once before, he is probably going to discuss his real quirk with him." Shoto elaborated.
Kaminari gasped, turning to stare at the bicoloured teen, "No way! He's gonna trust the rat!"
"Let us have faith in Izuku. He knows what he is doing." Said Iida firmly, his glasses flashing.
Hagakure bounded up in her seat, "I agree with Tenya! And I don't think we should ask too much!"
Asui hummed her agreement.

"Um...Shinsou..." Began Yaoyorozu, "you okay?"
The teen seemed to be staring out the window lost in thought.
Jirou smiled in admiration, "two months ago he mastered the art of sleeping while pretending to look out a window. He's totally out for the count. He has a gift."
"That's one word for it." Said Ojiro dryly.

"He has a gift for making Izuku laugh." Muttered Kaminari.
"Jealous much?" Teased Ashido.
The blond flushed, "hey, this is Izuku we're talking about!"
She paused and then a light bulb flickered on. "Oh! Of course, you guys all have crushes on Izuku!"
Half the room coloured at her remark and the pink haired girl smirked, turning her head to eye Jirou, "think it's about time we discussed this, yeah?"
"Yeah."

The pair turned to look at Yaoyorozu, who rose gracefully from her seat and moved to the front of the classroom.
She clapped her hands once for silence.
"Guys, it has come to our attention that a lot of you have developed feelings for Izuku."
They stared at her in horror.

She sighed in exasperation. "He's lovely, and we want him to be as happy as he made me and Kyouka."
"And, he helped me and Tsu out a lot..." pegged on Uraraka shyly.
Jirou got up and hugged her girlfriend, kissing her shyly.

Kirishima lead an applause for the couple - which woke up Shinsou, and it was a while before Yaoyorozu could get them all to quieten down.
"Thanks guys," she said, flushing slightly, "but this is why we want him to find love. He deserves it, so we want to help you guys."
Ashido smiled brightly, "we are just putting the offer out there to support you and give advice if you need it!"

"Fuck no." Growled Bakugou.
Shoto sighed, "though I understand you want to help, you guys barely know Zuku, how can you help?"
"Zuku?" Echoed Sero, the bicoloured male nodded but gave no explanation.

Asui spoke up, "it would be good to know who is interested in him too, kero. It would be unfair to have all of you fighting over him, when as Hiniyuki points out, we don't know what he's been through. You could stress or hurt him, and we don't want that to happen."
Uraraka spoke up hesitantly, "To-Hiniyuki, you said we don't know much about him... can you or Bakugou or Shinsou tell us more so we can support him better?"
