Chapter 84: Safe and Sound

Izuku woke to the sounds of gentle male voices, and found himself in a tangle of limbs. He closed his eyes and enjoyed the warmth in the wonderful obliviousness that comes before the realisation of what happened prior to sleeping hits home.

When that happened, he jolted upright, the voices abruptly stopping whatever conversation they were having. A hand - Touya's he knew by the roughness - tentatively touched his shoulder and he turned to look into the worried blue eyes, and then hastily bowed, turning and repeating the action to Keigo on the other side.
"I'm sorry for ruining your first day together!" He exclaimed. They must really hate him for this.

Keigo sighed, and Izuku waited to be reprimanded, only for the hero to pull him in for a full kiss, slow and gentle.
When he pulled away, the greenette opened and closed his mouth a few times before sending a fearful look toward Touya, but the Raven haired man only laughed.

Keigo spoke calmly, "you said you felt lonely, isn't that what you're missing?"
"What?" Asked the greenette nervously, and something twisted in Keigo's gut.
"Love - the traditional kind."
"But..." Izuku swallowed nervously, "I don't... I don't know how..."

He broke away from the stare of those golden eyes to gaze at his open palms. "I... well I know the physical stuff, but... the other stuff. Besides," he shook slightly, but if anyone could hear it and not cast him aside... it would be these two. "I'm so damaged, I'm too broken for it to be worth anyone making the effort to put me back together, if...if that's even possible..."

Keigo and Touya shared a look Izuku couldn't really understand, then Touya spoke up, "I... Izuku, I know we aren't who you're waiting for. We know you're damaged, but we think you are beautiful anyway. Outside and in."

Keigo finished for him. "Until you find the person or people you need, how about we fill that space. You need love, affection and support and we can shower you in it." He smiled slightly, "we're pretty broken too you know. You've healed so much, and we think being with you will help heal us and you even more."

"But..." Izuku's eyes were round, painfully reminding the duo how young he was. Izuku was so mature, so confident and clever, it was easy to forget he was only sixteen.

Keigo was floundering a little at the reality check, so Touya took the lead. "We both care deeply about you, Izuku. I... I know that is kinda new for you, so in the meantime, think of it as us paying a debt? You managed to get me out of the league of villains, and are working on fixing my family. You got me and Kei reunited... no matter how modest you are, I know you understand how big all of those are to me. So, let me try to support you in return?"

Izuku looked between them, and another issue he might be having occurred to Keigo. Maybe he could resolve it, since Izuku wouldn't dare ask.
"I would ask... that we keep it secret." Touya glanced over at him in confusion and he raised his hands in surrender, "One day soon, I'll come out publicly for you Touya, but..."
The greenette relaxed slightly, "you don't want to battle the media to justify a poly relationship that will only be temporary?"

Keigo nodded, and Touya moved the conversation forward. "So, would you let us spoil you?"

Izuku flinched at the word spoil and the warmth of the atmosphere evapourated.
Keigo thought over his words carefully, "what he meant is let us support you, and cherish you. I'm guessing your reaction to the word 'spoilt' means your experiences with the word aren't great." Izuku hesitated then nodded slightly.

It was weird seeing him so meek and quiet, the duo wondered if this was what he was really like and the rest was just a front, or simply that this was a part of himself that he didn't like people seeing.
