Touya would have visited Izuku sooner if both the principal of the school and the kid's father hadn't refused both him and Takami entry for an entire week.
He knew his brother would be taking good care of Izuku...but he needed to see for himself that the cute bean was okay. He was furious too, but both he and Takami had cooled off a lot since they'd got the details from Shiga- Shimura.

He almost blasted the door open though when the following Saturday, he and his boyfriend were finally allowed into the Heights Alliance.
The moment he did open the door a green blur flew into his arms. "Touya! Thank fuck!"
He squeezed the teen in his arms, smirking at his bereft brother whose arms the greenette had just vacated.
"What's up kitten?" He asked calmly, unable to hide the affection in his tone.
"You have to get me out of here! I've been trapped for a whole week!"
Keigo chuckled, "then, Shoto, I think we'll take over from here alright?"

Touya could have sworn his beloved, well behaved brother growled, but the bicoloured teen did give a short nod of acceptance. He strode over to a coat rack, grabbing a red parka and walking over to them, "Izuku, it's cold out today."
He firmly pulled Izuku out of Touya's arms and put the coat on him, zipping it up with so much force Touya would be surprised if Izuku ever escaped it. He was also starting to get an inkling of why Izuku had been so desperate to escape as his younger brother proceeded to weigh-lay the shorter teen with a scarf, hat, gloves, money, phone, a cling-filmed sandwich, and a forceful, almost threatening hug.

"Back in time for dinner, yes Zu?" He said softly, and something in his tone appeared to make Izuku melt slightly.
"Of course Sho." Replied the greenette with equal softness, "Seven on the dot."
The bicoloured teen nodded again, shooting the pair of adults a glare before disappearing into the house.

"Um..." began Takami trying to work out how to take what just happened.
Touya just cackled, "come on. Let's get you out of this mad house, huh kitten?"
The greenette shoved the bobble hat firmly on his head and grinned.

They headed into town, Touya and Takami flanking Izuku protectively in spite of themselves.
It was hard though. They'd known more than anyone...but even they hadn't realised Izuku was genuinely that fragile. That emotionally unbalanced.
It had shaken them to the core to think that they actually could have lost him. The teen bundled up in scarf and hat, bouncing along the pavement pretty much oblvious to how many people he would have completely broken had he genuinely ended his life. The number of hearts that would never have healed from the loss.

Touya for one was certain Shoto would never have healed. Ever.
That sort of reliance was dangerous, but it was the reality, and one he doubted would ever change. He didn't know how the teen would have moved forward when Izuku was pretty much the centre of his world.
He highly doubted Bakugou would have either. The poor bastard had been the one to talk him out of it. If he'd failed, the guy would never have healed. He was too stubborn and his very being too interwhined with Izuku's to ever recover from losing the greenette.
He hadn't really met Shinsou, but the teen seemed a lot like him, and if that was the case, and the insomniac felt about Izuku even half as strongly as he felt about Hawks, that was another broken teen right there.

Then there was Aizawa...and Eri, Takami, and that little monster Kouta, and Kirita, and Himiko, Tenko...most of 1A and the Hiniyuki family especially himself. Fuck, the number of lives the shortie had irreversibly changed for the better in a matter of months was astonishing.

Touya reached down to take Izuku's gloved hand tightly in his own, noting Takami had done the same on the other side as they made their way down the high street.
"Where do you want to go Izu?" Asked the blond playfully.
Izuku hummed, "well when I followed my classmates' date..."

The greenette continued to ramble unperturbed as Touya stiffened at the reminder. Takami had never let on what Izuku had signed that day. That horrific day. At the time it had taken his best efforts to behave normally for Izuku, and only his huge amount of love for Keigo, not to throw away his freedom and break into the prison to commit patricide.
