Just being in his arms feels so amazing....but the pancakes.
"Ruel the pancakes" I whisper.
"Ughh" he whines burying his face in my neck.
I continue to mix the batter while Ruel continues to lean on my shoulder.
"Ruel I'll let u flip the pancakes"
"Yesss" he says, getting up immediately.
I carefully pour the batter on the pan and give ruel the spatula.
"Okay you can flip it now" I say
He carefully slides the spatula under the pancake and quickly flips it over.
"Oh yeahhhh" he yells, raising his arms in the air.
Its cute when he concentrates.
"That might be the PERFECT pancake" ruel says.
"I don't know Ruel, I think I'm the pancake master" I say, flipping a pancake in the air and landing it on the spatula.
"Oh yeah? Step aside Nica, watch the PRO in action" he says
The pancake goes up, hits the spatula and falls on the floor.
"Oh shit" he says and dives for the pancake
"FIVE SECOND RULE" I yell
"Oh fuck, it's hot" Ruel says dropping the pancake again.
I can't stop laughing
"Ruel just pick it up"
"It's HOT"
He picks it up and quickly throws it on a plate.
"You're eating that one" I say laughing
"Fiiiine, but only because I'm the best at flipping pancakes"
"Can we get an instant replay from five seconds ago?"
"Sorry but that's not how LIFE works" he says laughing.
"Jeez Ruel" I say shaking my head
He gives me a grin as he continues to make some more.
