We talked for so long we didn't even realize it was almost midnight.
"Wow it's getting pretty late, we should probably go to sleep" I say, standing up.
"Yeah I'm going to head to bed, goodnight guys" Coco says. She gets up and goes to the guest bedroom.
"Oh here let me get you some better pillows" I say tell ruel. We both go to my room.
"Here ya go" I say handing him some pillows
"Thanks" he says.
I turn around to leave.
"Wait where are you going?" Ruel asks.
"I'm sleeping on the couch?" I say.
"Oh wait... oh yeah okay... I just thought.... yeah never mind" he says, his face turning red.
"Oh yeah umm...unless you don't want me to" i can feel my face heating up.
"I mean either way, I wouldn't mind...you could umm stay" I mumbles
"Ummm Yeah Okay... I can stay" I say awkwardly.
We both awkwardly slide under the covers keeping space between us.
Ugh what the heck
What are we even doing
I wiggle up to him and give him a kiss on the nose.
"Goodnight ruel"
I feel him wrap his arms around me.
"Good night Nica"
I fall asleep with my head pressed against his chest.
We breathe in sync
Our hearts beat as one
